Fall Fun
Posted by
Stoddard Family
We had a busy October filled with different activities every weekend. We kicked off the start of October with a fall festival at a family farm. The kids enjoyed seeing all the farm animals and Brooklyn especially enjoyed riding a horse several times. The next weekend we went to the pumpkin patch where the kids got to play, go through a corn maze, pick out a pumpkin, and go on a tractor ride. For a Young Womens activity we went to a corn maze. Brady went with me since Mark was out of town and he had a blast running around and holding the flashlight. Then came Halloween and the ward Trunk or Treat. Brooklyn went as a pirate princess, Brady went as a turtle from Finding Nemo, and Jackson went as a banana. We all had a good time at the Trunk or Treat and got plenty of candy. Then we had a little Halloween party with some friends. At the Halloween party the kids got to do a halloween sack race which both Brooklyn and Brady enjoyed very much. Brooklyn won a couple of times and Brady lost everytime but he had a blast jumping and falling down over and over again. They also got to try and get a doughnut off a string. Brady had no interest and Brooklyn didn't accomplish much except getting the glaze in her hair. We had a wonderful October and look forward to having a relaxing Thanksgiving break and spending time with friends. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to.

Photo Update

I am so behind in posting things the last month so I decided to just update with some pictures.
The kids in their BYU gear getting ready for the game.
The next four pictures are from our trip to the zoo.
The next 5 pictures are from Brady's Birthday.
This is Brooklyn and her friend Kate. It was a super hot day outside
but they decided to wear their snowhats and gloves anyway.
Here is Brady wearing his dad's socks and shoes.

One Month Old
Posted by
Stoddard Family
This post is a couple of weeks late but I wanted to post it before he turns two months old. Here are his stats from his one month appointment.
Height: 21 inches (25%)
Weight: 8lbs 12oz (25%)
Head: 14 1/8 (10%)
Jackson at one month old was still smaller than Brooklyn when she was born. Even though he is small he is a great eater. Third time is a charm in the eating department. Brooklyn would only take a bottle, Brady would only nurse, and Jackson will nurse or take a bottle. He isn't picky about how or what he gets. Hopefully that will continue. Here are some pictures from the past month.
This last picture is showing the height difference between the three kids.

Today is Brady's Second Birthday. I can't believe how fast time flies. It feels like just yesterday we were bringing him home from the hopsital and now he is two and there is another baby in the house. Here are some pictures of Brady over the last two years.

Better Late Than Never

I know it's been three weeks since my baby was born and I am just now getting around to posting a blog but that is how it goes when you have three under 3 1/2. As most of you know Jackson Owen Stoddard was born on August 13th, 2010 at 11:19 pm. He weighed in at 7lbs 13 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. We are so thrilled to have him in our home. Jackson is a sweet baby who loves to cuddle and only makes a peep when he is hungry. Brooklyn and Brady both adore him and want to give him hugs and kisses all the time. They even like to help burp him.
So far things have been good and the kids have adjusted fairly well but we have had Nana, Aunt Aunna, and Grandma here to help. Tomorrow is my first official day on my own. Wish me luck. Here are a few pictures from the hospital and the first week home. Hopefully I will be able to post more pictures soon.
