Ringing Out the Old...

We've been without internet for a little while. Sorry for the blogging back log to come, but we wouldn't want you to miss the highlights of the last month or so. :)

We'll begin by ringing out the old...

The evening of the Holiday Lights Safari, after our last post, Hannah began suffering from severe ear infections in both ears. It was a pretty sad time for us all as she was so ill, and before it was all over we were a perfect 4 for 4 on ER visits in 2007.

Hannah began to recover in time to visit Santa Claus before we left for NC. Despite Debbie's best efforts to make sure that she was firmly grounded in the knowledge that Santa is a delightful Christmas legend :), Hannah developed a rather adorable love and affection for him this year (we're thinking it was all the Christmas movies she watched while she was recovering :). By the end of her illness she was asking us rather fervently to take her to meet him. Unfortunately, the Santa at the mall was a pretty grouchy guy and when we got there Hannah wouldn't even look at him. He really left us wondering why he hadn't considered another line of work. :(

Then, Christmas, of course, was a pure delight (see our top 20 memories post).

And, since coming home we've been sorting, organizing, generally setting our house in order and settling into Jared's new school schedule. We have just a little over a year and a half to go!
