This year we got to spend Thanksgiving with my Mom and my sisters Lynda, and some of her family, and Laura, and her family, at Lynda's home in Chadds Ford, PA. It had been a long time since I got to spend Thanksgiving with my Mom or Lynda. It was a cozy and comfortable day, all snuggled up in the house together. Charlie Brown was on the tv and there was lots and lots of yummy food! : ) I was pretty proud of my gluten/dairy pumpkin pie and with a little coconut milk ice cream, Ben and I never knew the difference. : )

These are my only November photographs (thanks Lynda!) because, November was the month that my little engine that could, couldn't anymore. It felt like somebody flipped the off switch. My little body that had been humming along, suddenly whirled slowly down to off. I had no energy, no muscle strength and a very cloudy mind. Much trial and error, seeking and searching and I think I'm struggling with Adrenal Fatigue and several food sensitivities. I am finding that diet, water, rest and de-stressing are key. Unluckily, life was really hard for a while, especially before I had figured a lot of this out. Luckily though, as is always the Lord's way, I feel like this exact trial was the best way for me to learn the lessons I most wanted (and needed : ) to learn and grow in the ways I most wanted (and needed : ) to grow. Truly the Lord can and does cause our weaknesses to become strengths as we rely on him in our trials! I am very thankful for this challenge that came to me in Thanksgiving month! The timing now seems like a sweet coincidence. : )
