This year Hannah asked for a "Mexican Dancing Party." First we made mexican flower hair clips for each girl. Then, our friend Sophia taught the girls a Mariachi dance. When parents arrived, at the end, the girls performed their dance for them.

Megan, Hannah, Noa & Maddy.
Emmy enjoyed watching and Ella arrived and joined in a little later
for another rehearsal and the final performance. : ) |

| Happy Hannah and our dear friend, Sophia, her birthday dance teacher. : ) |
For supper we had shredded chicken tacos, watermelon and Mexican juice drinks.
After Supper we put candles in mexican sweet bread and sang to the birthday girl in English and Spanish. :)

| Jared and I ate a lot of Mexican sweet bread in Mexico when Hannah was in my belly 7+ years ago. When she was little we would track down a Mexican store wherever we lived and stop by for sweet bread every once in a while. It's a bit of a tradition for this baby girl. |
After sweet bread and presents we played toss the taco. (The girls put hard shell tacos over wooden spoons and tried to toss them into their partner's sombero. : ) And then pin the tail on the donkey! : )
