Summer and Ty's Place

This is me and three have my favorite teachers from school.  We were going to California for spring break but on the drive there we made a little Olive Garden stop.  Yummmm.  I love those breadsticks and salad.  Anyways we went a little picture happy and had to record every moment of the trip.  This is us on the pier.  It was beautiful.  I know you can't tell it is me but I am the one wearing the fun hat.  Aren't you all jealous that you weren't there.  :)
When walking around shops we saw a place where we could see a psychic.  We all went and got our palms read.  I have a very funny palm reading.  We all had a lot of fun and the lady looked just how I imagined a psychic would look. 

Hey everyone this is Summer.  This is my first time posting without Tyler yes I can be a little lazy sometimes.  I am blogging to give you all a short update.  I realized we have not posted in a LONG LONG time but I had no pictures to post and have never written much on my blog.  Here is an update on Tyler and I.  I just had spring break last week but won't go into detail because I will be putting up pictures soon.  I have tons of friends at school and my kids are fun but definitely an adjustment from Utah.  We have AIMS (end of year testing) coming up in a week and the stress level in my school is going to land the entire 3rd grade team in the hospital.  Testing here is a matter of life and death and I am struggling to remember what a school is like where you don't live and die by testing.  Tyler is doing great in school but is a little frustrated that he does not know about an internship.  He won't know where he is going for about a month but hopefully it is somewhere good.  Oh and for those of you who might know many first year teachers all across america are being cut.  Because I am a first year teacher in the district we are not sure yet if I will be able to keep my job.  I am not to worried because................... ok maybe I am a little worried.  Life is great and we are still enjoying the great weather.  I will post pictures of my trip to Newport Beach soon.
