Since I was young, I always look forward for chinese new year. Even though I am far away from home, I still have the same feeling. I have been spending my 3 Chinese New year in Canada, there is like nothing special in Canada. This year is slightly better where there is a Vietamese Market opened at down town selling Chinese new year stuff. I could easily get ingredients to make my beloved chinese new year dessert, my beloved drink for CNY - Yeo's chrysanthemum tea. Another difference for this year is my room mates' parents, and Jon's mother is here. We celebrate a lovely chinese new year together, making dumpling together.
The best is when I talked to my relatives, family via skype. I still getting ang pow from them even though I was not physically there. It was extremely funny when they take family picture with me in the netbook. It gives me a lot of happiness and strong feeling. I always have home sick during Chinese new year. Hopefully I can spend CNY at home next year.
A new year with a new hope, I wish my family is happy and healthy forever.
