Impromtu Family Pictures

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and the leaves were changing in the mountains, so naturally I wanted to take some family pictures. We roped Cami into taking pictures for us. I had the great idea of taking the dog to get a few pictures of him and the kids together. Well, apparently everyone else decided to enjoy the Fall day as well. We got trapped in a long line of people waiting just to get into the canyon, the dog smelled, and someone started to get a little carsick. Perfect time to take pictures! We stopped at the first place we could see...no fall colors, but still the beautiful Aspens. I had great intentions of changing Scout's dress and of course she wouldn't let me. There was fighting amongst the little ones, multiple dog mishaps, and Cami's sweet newborn had a blowout. Oddly enough, it was a fun little adventure that I'm grateful I have stored in my mom-brain now. However, we may have to try this again. Enjoy some of the ones that probably won't make it to our wall.

Never ever thought that I would take a family picture with my dog in it. Summit can thank Dave for that. =)
My infamous sleepy look. I totally could have been a model. Linc is mad because he can't stand by his dad. Just keeping it real folks. This is us.

Trying to get a candid shot. Summit is actually in the middle of running toward the kids.

A brief moment before Summit knocks Scout over while running by her. Good times.

Scout threw a fit when she didn't want Lincoln to stand by her, and of course this resulted in a little squabble. It just happened to be caught on film right as she whacked him on the back. Since Lincoln was okay, I feel that I can share this photo of him getting it. Unfortunately, this is an extremely classic moment in their relationship.

Brief moments of their love for each other.

Oops, he tried to touch her again. Here we see one of Scout's famous scowls.

A Whole Lot of Stuff Part 1

We have done a lot in the past 7 months. We've had four birthdays, summer camps, a dog (and vet bills)growing, visits to California, St. George, backyard renovations, and a whole lot of swimming. Cousins, friends, and fun...what more could two little ones ask for?!
