The Wilton Way Art Gallery plays host to a nature take over during Hackney Art Week, where we have created a space which encompasses the magical and sensual feelings of being deep inside a forest.
Muted colours of woodland and moss creep into the space and the art is encompassed and drawn into the folds and corners of the space.
Ceramic artwork is by Lauren Bauer, her tactile nymph like bodies and organic shapes and forms will be living in amongst the moss and woodland. A sumptuous bed of moss fills the window, a pine branch hangs down gently and linens and materials are draped which resonate with Bauer’s hand drawn lines and folds.
