Life As We Know It

We are just waiting!!! I went to my 39 week check up today and no progress has been made. It appears that Braden loves his home and has no plans of coming any time soon (which is a little ironic since we had a scare at 28 weeks and thought he was going to make an early arrival)! We will go back next week for another ultrasound just to make sure he is doing okay and then I am sure we will begin making plans for his arrival unless he changes his mind and decides to arrive on his own. We will keep you posted as we wait, wait and wait!!!

This past weekend, we enjoyed our final baby shower. Thank you to Sherri, Katie, Sandra & Amie for hosting such a wonderful afternoon! We received many wonderful gifts and the hostesses gave us a beautiful sign with Braden's name on it which looks wonderful above his crib and my sister in law, Angie, made an amazing "fill in the blank" scrapbook for me (for those of you who know me well know I don't scrapbook because it stresses me out because I am a perfectionist. So she has made it easy on me!! It is wonderful!) We have been truly blessed by the outpouring love and generosity of so many friends and family over the past few months. THANK YOU! We are currently at 37 weeks and counting! We have an ultrasound scheduled for Thursday afternoon to get an estimate on Braden's weight. One of us has had a growth spurt! The nursery is 95% done. We just have one more piece of furniture (which Ryan and my mom painted) to move into the room once it drys. We will keep you posted on the arrival of our sweet baby boy!
