Numero Uno

The scene was Martha inspired. This is what happens now that I do not work. I was obsessed with finding all things yellow on the internet. The day was picture perfect and I swear it felt like my wedding day. Oh no, does this mean poor Harte is going to be in a world of trouble with an overbearing party planning mom. I can see her sweet 16 now....

California Cousins

I could not have asked for a better visit. My little nieces are just full of love and life and I just cherished every moment I had with them. Elizabeth is the consoler, telling her sissies to not be afraid on the flights, 'Not to worry Claire, just think of your favorite princess and it will all be ok." Sammie was the doggie lover, finding sticks all over the yard for Bella (the dog) and squealing with delight when she would eat them. Both of these girls are game for adventure and thrill seeking one minute and the next they are just ready to have a big hug and dote on you with their sweet words. And then there is Claire, what a love muffin. She is just happy with the busy life that moves around her. She cracks me up with her completely opposite modes of transportation. When she crawls she sways her little bootie back and forth, very very sassy, but then the walk is like Frankenstein stiff with the arms straight out. Either way she always comes at you with a huge grin. And Mom and Emily are just my two very best friends in the whole wide world and I miss them so dearly. What a lucky girl Harte was to have all this love around her for the week. She ate it up in spoonfuls!

california dreamin'

What! I think I took like 3 pictures the whole vacation. I am so so bummed. No pics with Dad at the pool, swinging at the beach, playing with cousins. At least I snapped Harte and her besties, Campbell and Lucy.

And the winning shot...was cousin Claire using Great Grandpa's walker. Look out Fisher Price you've got some chrome competion.

Easter-meester

So here is Harte with her darling bunny. Oh, don't worry, lost him to Bella only like a week after Easter....the damage was too much to bare and too much to repair. The cousins came over and sweet Molly sported her bunny ears while she dug into her chocolate bunny. Chocolate and children, it's a magical combination.
