Easters 2013

We had a low key Easter this year. Farmer Brown's family doesn't do much for Easter, and my mom had other things going on this year. Jders was excited for the Easter Bunny to come. She sure got spoiled! The Easter Bunny thought it would be too cold for an Easter egg hunt outside, and so he hid them inside. Jders was thrilled to go find them throughout the house.
She had to open every egg before she would put it in the basket. So, it took us a while to find all of our eggs!!
Here she is in her new Easter dress from the Easter Bunny.

Adopted

We've adopted our good friends daughter, we get to watch her once a week, and we have tons of fun. Here is K and Jders enjoying Jders new wagon for one of the first times. It's hard to utilize a wagon you get for Christmas, but when that sun peaks out in our small town, we're out and about trying out our new toys. Cute little girls if you ask me.

Easter Bunny Jders

These glasses were too funny! She put her upper lip inside the glasses, so the teeth went in her mouth. So funny! Look at her eyes through the glasses, that makes it even funnier.

Coloring Easter Eggs

We had some friends come over and help us dye Easter eggs. Here are the girls in their Easter dying attire. Cuties!
These were Farmer Brown and I's John Deere eggs, mine was in front, and his was the back one. We got a good laugh out of Farmer Brown's attempt.
Jders is obsessed with Mickey Mouse, so there had to be a Mickey Mouse egg, she also loves Blue Clues, so there was a blue paw print egg.

The final lot of eggs:
Sissy decorated a lot of eggs too! They were great!

Daddy's Birthday 2013 Takes the Cake

This year, I surprised Farmer Brown with tickets to a comedy club in Ogden. He got off work, and we headed to Ogden. My mom watched Jders, and they decorated this tractor cake, which turned out SO much better than it would have if I would have done it. Happy 29th Daddy! It was a lot of fun! (My camera was having issues, I think I needed to clean the lens, Jders plays with the camera a lot, hence the blurry pictures.)

I LOVE that Jders is helping him with his cake!

Easter Egg Hunt

The community we live in is wonderful, and puts on lots of Easter egg hunts for the kids. But, even though they level the ages, she still gets ran over. So... I thought that I could put one together for smaller kids, and each mom could bring a number of eggs for each kid they brought, and then each kid could find that certain number of eggs, so that there was no running each other over.

We were going to do it outside, but the weather didn't cooperate, so we ended up doing it at the church, which worked fine too. It was a lot of fun, and the kids got plenty of eggs, and candy! They were all really little kids, so as you can see, we didn't try to hide them very well, plus there really are only a few places to really "hide" the eggs in a church.

Enjoying their loot at the end!

Gramma Mary's Packages Are the Best!

My Mom is one of the greatest grandma's ever! She sends a package for practically every holiday, and Jders LOVES it! Here she is enjoying her Easter package, and talking to my Mom on the phone to say thank you. Jders has never been much of a phone talker, so to get her to say anything on the phone, you have to put it on speaker, and just put it next to her and let the person talk to her, and then she'll decide whether she wants to talk to you or not. We haven't gotten her to talk very many people, but Gramma Mary and Daddy are the two she will talk to.
