The summer is going by so fast.

I wanted to post something quick since it had been so long I didn't want to lose access to this blog. I have been doing a recipe one that I hadn't posted to for awhile and now I can't sign into it. Does anyone know how I can get it back?

The outside of the house. At this point we had cleaned up over 60 of the big outside/yard garbage bags of garbage and stuff that was on the lawn and outside. The rose buses were so overgrown you could not even see the porch. A lot of the yard work will come next spring.

The House

We started looking for a house in June. The second house that we saw had a lot of potential, but we kept telling ourselves there were more houses to see. Everytime we met with the realtor the rest of the month we would stop back by this house. Everytime we liked it even more and saw more possibility. So by the end of June we submitted the offer. It was a short sale and everyone kept warning us how long those take. By mid-July we had the closing date of September 13. Everything kept moving along on track and we signed the papers on September 13 and the house was officially ours (once funded) on Friday the 14th.
We are excited! There is lots of work to be done, but we are excited to do what WE WANT! and to have something that is ours. It happened quicker than we thought. We thought we would be living in the townhouse for years to come.
