Syme Family

Isaac had a good birthday today! He loved his presents. I could not get him to look at me once he got playing with the train set. He was so funny with it. He threw a fit when we made him go to bed because he just wanted to keep playing.

I won a contest for a free ice cream cake, so we used it for Isaac's birthday. He loved his M&M ice cream cake.

I can't believe my baby is two already. It has gone by so fast! He has really started repeating a lot of words this last week and a half. I was starting to get a little worried before, but now he is saying stuff all the time. It is amazing how much can change in their lives in less than two weeks! He has started to climb up into his high chair. He also started on Friday to climb in and out of his playpen. Scary. We will be getting him a big boy bed at our next place.

I thought this was kind of fun. Syme is not in the database, so that helps make us the only ones! I thought it was interesting that there are no other Miah's. There really are, but they are all spelled differently.

We reserved our POD yesterday, so now it officially feels like we are moving. It would be wonderful to know WHERE we were moving, but it feels nice to know that I am getting out of this apartment! I even packed my first box last week. I keep telling myself to pack one a day, but I only got the one finished! I really want to pack my scrapbook stuff and my clothes, so that I can go through everything.

We went to the zoo on Saturday (since we didn't get to go on Miah's birthday because we were having the car fixed). It was fun to go do the few things that we hadn't done yet. The Bronx Zoo really is a great zoo and we will miss our membership there.

My niece, Addie is going to have heart surgery on Monday. As I understand it, this is the last surgery to repair her heart, the next one that she will need is a heart transplant. If you can, please remember her in your prayers. She is only 5 years old and I can't imagine what my brother and his wife are going through.
