Kaveni's blessing was awesome. We are so glad that everyone drove from so far to come and support our family. Isei and Mary drove from Vernal, Utah and spent the weekend with us. On Saturday the guys went fishing with my dad in Soda. Everyone caught their limit (6) and they really did have a good time. I wish I had pictures... Joape and Christine came from St. George, Utah on Saturday night. We all went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse...yummy. Maraia and Saki had so much fun together. I love that they can play together so well. They are great friends and we hope that continues until they are older.
On Sunday January 4, we blessed Kaveni. We were happy to see all of my siblings (minus Bret...we missed you) were able to make it to the blessing. With my family and Ife's friends we took up the entire middle section in the chapel. Our ward was excited to have so many people since we have been lacking in numbers lately. Ife gave Kaveni a wonderful blessing and I was so happy that he is a worthy priesthood holder and able to bless our kids.
We had a nice luncheon afterwards at my sister's house. Thanks Tawny for accommodating all of the people. Since our camera is getting fixed (should be done by Jan.19th), we weren't able to take pictures, but we did have family take some. We haven't quite received any yet*, but we will soon so I will post pictures later.
*I just got a message from my little sister Hope. She called today for my address to send me a CD with a bunch of pictures burned on it. I am laughing so hard because she just left me a message that she sent the package...with nothing in it. If any of you know her you can laugh with me because she is so hilarious. My BEST friend.
I did borrow my sisters camera today and take some pictures of
Kaveni in his blessing outfit. Long story about the process of finding an outfit that I'm sure you all don't want to hear, but I did go back and ask for the 15% off the store clerk forgot to give me. That saved me about $13. For all of you mathematicians you can figure out how much the original price was of the outfit. Anyway, I won't delve into the blessing outfit story, but here are some pictures of my sweet boy from today.

Saki giving his favorite brother kisses. Kaveni didn't enjoy Saki getting Oreo all over him.
I got the idea of this photo from Krystal since I saw a picture of her doing it with her girl. I can't believe how small they are...and how fast they grow.
You all can probably tell that Kaveni has grown. Saki never had those chubby cheeks. I just love them. Whenever I change Kaveni's diaper I love the little rolls on his legs. Maybe we will have a football/rugby player after all. By the way, Saki weighed in at 22 lbs at his two year check-up. He's under the 5th percentile. I'm sure Kaveni is probably already half of Saki's weight. I don't know how much he weighs, but I'm guessing around 10 or 11 lbs.
I just love these boys...and my 30 year old boy too. Life is great!!!
