Alex and Mom and Dad left today for the Trek to Martins Cove they had to be on the bus by 6am and had an 8hr drive. Mom and dad took there trailer with everyones sleeping bags, tents and firewood they were pretty loaded. They will get home late sat night. Alex will walk 26 miles this week pulling a handcart. What an awesome experience for her. She has to wear pioneer clothing and could only bring 17 pounds of gear.
Clancy went to scout camp this weekend and came home with a tick...Thank goodness for Doctor Dana !! Poor Clancy the tick right on his butt with his grandma down there trying to get it out. All is well we were able to remove the tick. I have to say that is the fist time I have ever seen a tick.
