One Year Week Forty-Three

Happy President's Day!
Dad had the day off from school, so the two of us went to the Museum of Flight to check out the sections we didn't see before. We saw Air Force One! They wouldn't let me in the cockpit to fly, but it wasn't for lack of trying.
I think my favorite part of the museum was the tunnel/over-pass to get to the outdoor section which included Air Force One. I had so much fun just running up and down it.
Here I come Daddy!
On the way home Dad gave me the biggest pretzel I've ever seen! So I had to sing to it. (Seriously folks, he was singing about the big pretzel.)
Vincent and I get along so well. We can make each other crack up.
Wednesday night Grandma had to work so we went over Friday night instead...and that meant Mom could come too! Two more weeks and they'll be on their way to Long Beach, CA. :(
Saturday was another beautiful morning. We invited the Flamms to play tennis with us. Unfortunately I was a little more clingy this time and wouldn't let Mom play. So she took Kylee and I out to walk around, play in the dirt, and watch the model airplanes fly.
The plane, the plane! And a helicopter too!
Saturday Shayla and Vincent came to play (be babysat) and the Yoons came too. Poor Uncle Jiho had to wear a hat so that Vincent wouldn't cry when he saw him. But then all the kids wanted to wear hats!
One of the highlights of the week was having dinner at the Flamm's house. Kylee had the Cozy Coupe that we had so much fun on!
Make way! We're comin' through!
Yikes! Slow Down!
Whoa! We stopped too fast and I'm going over!

One Year Week Forty-Two

Happy Friday the 13th and Valentine's Day!
As usual now, Dad and I had fun at my Grandparents house on Wednesday. They continue to pack up their belongings and I continue to unpack them. Like these heavy headphones and the three-headed dragon puppet that I'm sporting. They have fun toys! Grandma and I were making silly faces in the mirror. This was the only picture my dad captured where I wasn't cracking up.
Kylee and Shayla came over to play Thursday night. We had fun dancing on and jumping off the couch. If we weren't so cute and lightweight, my parents would probably not let us be this rambunctious.
Shayla and I found some flags for President's Day coming up next week and we were more than happy to show our appreciation and support.
Valentine's Day morning arrived and my Mom and I took my Dad to the Tennis courts. It was a beautiful day and I got to bring some toys too!
My parents eventually played an entire set with my Mom hitting all the angles and beating my Dad 6-4. Yay Mom! I had fun fetching the balls so it's only a matter of time before I become a real ball-boy!
After a three hour long nap, we celebrated Aunt Bonnie's and Edan's birthdays. Everybody had such an awesome time; some more than others!
It was wonderful to see everyone and spend good times with them all, especially the birthday girl and boy.
Happy Valentine's Day and Happy Birthday Aunt Bonnie and Edan!
While my Dad was sleeping in Sunday morning, my Mom put together this little ensemble for me consisting of my two favorite items. Grandma Sheila's blanket (head) and my trusty blanket (body) that's still with me after all this time. Unfortunately, Mom changed me into my church clothes shortly after.See you next week when my Dad and I spend the entire day together for President's Day!

One Year Week Forty-One

Dad watched all three kids by himself one morning this week while Aunt Missy went to an appointment. Although we were all good kids, Dad sure admires Aunt Missy for watching all three of us every day.
Shayla: Yippee!!
Vincent: I don't know if I like this.
Dallin: Come on Dad, go faster.
I love my Grandma so much. I am going to miss her a TON when she moves. My Dad and I now have a standing appointment to have dinner at her house every Wednesday night. My Mom's not invited...unless she doesn't have mutual.
Every first Thursday of the month is free night at the Museum of Flight. We went, saw a lot of really cool airplanes and even saw/met some old friends.
Mom and Aunt Missy's friends Wendy, Julie, and Fran met us with their families. We had quite the crowd.
Dad's friend Dane also met us there with his kids.
There were so many cool things to see/touch/climb on that we all wanted to go in different directions. But we had fun on our parent's shoulders too.
Luckily most of things there we could touch and climb on/in.
Look out sky, here I come in my SR-71.
Saturday we went to the super mall to play on the in-door play area. There were too many kids so we were afraid to detach ourselves from our parents...until we saw these!
On your mark...get set...GO! Go green team, go!

Sunday at nursery I only cried for 10 seconds when my mom left this time. And I actually led my mom to nursery instead of the other way around.

It seems the past two weeks I've crossed several milestones too. I know many of my shapes including octagon. I know the alphabet song: ABCD ABCD ABCD ABCD. And I can count to ten: 1 2 3 5 6 7 8 9 10....well I was close.

One Year Week Forty

We had another exciting week. Uncle Jiho's brother, Yeunho, came to visit. Since Jiho still had school and work and Bonnie still had work, the rest of us tried to keep him from getting too bored. One morning before school, Dad tried playing racquetball with him, but I didn't let Dad play much. Dad even tried playing while holding me, (which he was scolded for later), but he had a chance to play again later in the week. Mom and I got sick, so dad found ways to stay away from the germs. On Yeunho's last night here we had our feast at Midori Teriyaki. YUM! Edan, Isis and I had fun running around disturbing the other customers.
More visitors in the same week. Shayla and Vincent's grandparents came to celebrate Vincent's First birthday. Saturday was the main event. Shayla and I had a lot of fun opening Vincent's gifts and playing with his new toys. Vincent loved his birthday cake and thought that it looked better than his birthday suit. At one point he picked up the entire piece in his hand to eat it. Superbowl Sunday was fun too. We didn't watch much of the game, but we played our own game using a balloon. Is pulling us by our ankles legal?
