Year Three Week Twenty-Nine

This week was a lot like my hair. Wild and crazy.
I think it is so funny when I have "pokey hair"...too bad it doesn't stay as it dries.
For weeks Mom and Dad have been perplexed over choosing a name for my baby brother. But the list keeps getting longer, not shorter.
I love to go shopping with Dad. Especially when we go to stores that have the car shopping carts. Vroom, vroom!
The three of us played Connect 4x4 (which I insist is called the Xbox Connect). Because of my random decisions, it sure threw my Mom and Dad's game off a few times. I even won once!
Mom went on a weekend trip with some of her best friends from high school. Carmen made them these cute t-shirts.Can you guess where they went? San Francisco!
So I'll let Mom do the narrating since I wasn't there.
Our first stop on the trip...Alcatraz! It was really interesting and worth the ticket. (Note, I wouldn't recommend for kids under 10 though.)
After that we walked down Fisherman's Wharf where we ate and shopped on Pier 39 and saw all the Sea Lions. November must be too cold for them though because there were only about a dozen instead of hundreds.
Ghirardelli Square was a MUST for these 4 women. Yum!
Then we walked the 6 blocks to Lombard Street. We didn't know the blocks would look like this though. This picture was an excuse for a break.
The street was amazing. Not only for how crooked it was, but how people lived on it and how beautiful the gardens were.
Since the first day was so exhausting with all the walking, we decided to do the hop-on-hop-off bus our second day to see the rest of the sights like China Town.
And of course get to the Golden Gate Bridge.
It was really pretty at night too on our second loop around town.
Sunday we all got on our respective planes back to our normal life.
Thanks for the fun trip girls, miss you already!
Back to Dallin...who didn't let Mom being away keep him down. Lots of fun was still had with Daddy and cousins.
But I was still very excited when Mommy came home. This was what happened during what should have been my nap time.
Popcorn, the perfect treat while looking at pictures of Mommy's trip.
So long!

Year Three Week Twenty-Eight

Vroom! What an action packed week! Dad took Vincent and me to the lakeside park on a gorgeous day.
Playing on the playground was the best, especially the airplane that we flew.
We also met a new friend that was more than happy to join us in our adventures.
Whee!

Dad took me and Vincent to the tennis courts the following day. What fun!Working up a sweat required a hilarious water break.

We also discovered a playground on our hike.

Too cute!

Pre-school is such fun! We get to make all sorts of crafts like this cool squirrel.
If you guys haven't tried out the Xbox Kinect game system, we suggest that you stop by your local electronics store and give it a spin. Dad and I dropped by to check it out and were so impressed that Mom, Dad, Uncle Shawn, and Aunt Missy made a point to try it out on their double date.

The first Thursday of the month so another great time at the Museum of Flight. I was really hamming it up all night.
For my Dad's birthday, we had a slumber party at the Kellys. Us kids got to stay up a little later and the parents stayed up really late playing Robo Rally. Mom finished first in the race game and Aunt Missy triumphed in the battle game. I decided to make up my own version of the game using super heroes!
The spotlight was on me during Sunday school!
Mom + Dad
While it may not be the Kinect, playing the Nintendo 64 is still enjoyable.

Happy birthday, Daddy! I love you!

Year Three Week Twenty-Seven

Happy Halloween! But first I'll smile so bright you'll see stars. Hey Dad, where is the fairy you were talking about?
Mom's goofy boys.
Guess what we discovered in abundance in our backyard? Grandpas!
My Mom was a cat loving garden dwelling witch that turned unfortunate souls into frogs. Her department was awarded first place in the company wide competition.
Check out this youtube video showcasing the winner's masterpiece.

It was so good, in fact, that all of us stopped by to check it out.
Saturday morning was the Boo in Burien. Despite the downpour, it was a great turnout. We actually scored more goodies from the generous businesses than what we received at our church activity and trick-or-treating combined.
We enjoyed the activities and crafts but my favorite was the pumpkin bowling.
That evening, we attending our church's Halloween event which included crafts, games, activites, a chili cookoff, and goodies. Isn't that an amazing Barbie costume!
Vincent and I were the invincible Iron Man and War Machine.
Dad got into the spirit of things too as Tron.
Iron Man armor activated. Repulsor blasts!
My Dad wanted to give me a goatee like Tony Stark's but I blasted him away.
Iron Man, War Machine, Princess. We're still a bunch of silly kids!
Trick or Treat!

What happens when you give kids an excessive amount of Halloween candy? Watch and see!

It's my Dad's birthday next week!
