2011, Week Thirty-Three

Summertime sun and amazing apples from our backyard.
Apples for everybody.
Dallin's last week of summer school where he crafted some spiffy masks.
Sprinkler time!
Keegan was quite amused by his big brother's excitement.
Keegan sits up all of the time now.
Tara had her company's picnic at Snohomish State Park. There were a ton of activities and a live reggae band that we all grooved to.
Dallin's favorite activities were the bouncy slides.
Tara was lucky enough to win two prizes at the raffle.
Dallin's first climbing adventure. It was pretty funny because even though he met the height requirement, he didn't weigh enough to return to the ground.
Dallin's preferred bouncy slide.

Relay races, volleyball, football, face painting, crafts, portrait sketches, balloon tosses, BBQ, ice cream, cotton candy, and snow cones!
Dallin found a souvenir to take home. These balloons came in handy for the decorating of Sara Flamm's baby shower that Tara threw for her the following day.
Last day of soccer practice for Shayla, Vincent, and Dallin.

Orlando spent the weekend in Moses Lake with his brothers playing a ton of games and the best doubles tennis match of the year. They also had the unique experience of listening to a live thrash metal band. Grandma Sheila and Alyssa came home Sunday to join in the fun and play even more games.Uncle Randy will be visiting us next week!

Once again, we used Portrait Innovations and had a great experience. The only difficult part was deciding which pictures to keep!

2011, Week Thirty-Two

Look at that cute little baby foot!
Dallin decided to roller-blade in style.
Keegan having a ball.
Those silly boys.
Woah! It's shark-Dallin.
A cute moment between the boys.
Vincent decided to join in the fun and spent the entire day with them.
The three amigos at it again.
After acquiring Beth the best baby-sitter, the adults saw Captain America. The kids were excited for the slumber party and the parents were happy to play Trek to Zion together late into the night. Especially Tara who dominated.
There's just no comparison for fresh raspberries first thing in the morning.
Tara took Vincent and Dallin to the lake to pick blackberries, feed the ducks, and throw rocks to make big splashes!
After catching five flying frisbees in a row, Dallin qualified for the bonus round. How many can you catch at the same time!
Jessalyn and her Aunt Tara being corny.
We're trying to get Danny to come visit us before he goes off to school in a few weeks so hopefully he'll be here next week!

2011, Week Thirty-One

An eyebrow raising week for sure!
Amber the explorer.
We started the week at the zoo.
Why do seals swim in salt water? Because pepper water would make them sneeze!
Budgie's for everybody.
Dallin caught two of them!
Zoo group shot.
Tropical island getaway.
Yay! Mom is home!
The undisputed hero of the week, Justin! He helped take such good care of Keegan. Tara found Justin rummaging through the coat closet one early morning and noticing that he seemed halfway asleep. She asked if he was looking for the bathroom, but he was apparently sleep walking and on a quest to find the Elder Wand.
Games! Every night! All week long!
Look out! Dallin's got the sprinkler!
Noelle and Keegan are safely out of range.
Take me out to the ballgame. Initially, we planned on taking the train to the game but it ended up better in our favor to just drive. Plus we scored free hotdogs and drinks!

That's correct, Mariner's fans, you heard Jimi Hendrix's "Fire" so you know that we won the game! 7-4!

Time for a victory dance in the sprinkler.
Taking a circuitous route to avoid heavy traffic, we gathered together at the Burke Museum of Natural History.
Now that is a large dinosaur bone.
Volcanic cave of wonders.
Dallin wanted so badly to climb on this structure.
Dallin's favorite part of the museum, other than the dinosaurs, was the wolf and owl exhibit. He asked Orlando what each animal was and where it lived.
Slip sliding away!

Keegan's extreme Bieber hairdo.
Astronauts Haley, Dallin, and Shayla prepare for liftoff.
As we walked around to the front of the museum we encountered this astonishing sight.
With this jet, you could fly on the highway to the danger zone.
Noelle and co-pilot Amber hanging and gliding.
Last but not least, the awesome tunnel.
Princess Shayla and the birthday girl, princess Amber.
Goofy kids.
Picnic at the park.
Kickball game!

Ice blocking!
Frisbee golf, and Tennis!
Dallin wants to be the very best, like no one ever was.

With Alyssa back from EFY camp, we took her to see the final Harry Potter movie.
Who knew carrots could be so hilarious?
The three amigos pausing to pose for the camera.
Orlando was torn between telling Dallin not to get soaked and letting curiosity get the better of him.
Thanks for visiting us everyone! We can't wait until we meet again.
