2011, Week Forty-Six

Other than Pam Kelly visiting, not a lot happened this week. We still had a wonderful time living the life!
Another Captain America in training.
The Kelly kids are sure lucky to have such a wonderful Grandma.
Zoran and Pam were very happy to meet each other.
It's a general rule that kids will do surprising things when they aren't being watched. After Orlando finished putting on a new diaper for Keegan, he discovered Dallin on the couch with food in hand. (A big no-no). As Orlando began to reprimand Dallin, he began to laugh as he realized that Dallin was completely asleep.
In the following video clip, you'll see both boys showing new skills that they learned this week.

It's only a matter of time before this guy will be standing on his own.
Zoran had his first movie theater experience when he accompanied his parents and Grandma Kelly to see Breaking Dawn. He did great and everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the movie.
Beautiful lady and the cool dude.
Sometimes when we have the best intentions to get the boys down for bed, it backfires and they get so riled up and excited. This was one of those times where we joined in and had a grand football game on Dallin's bed.
Keegan has a new crib in a new room! He was way too excited to go to sleep and just bounced and rolled for a long time, enjoying his new space.
In addition to the new room and crib, he also began serious sleep training and improved every night.
Next week is Thanksgiving!!!

2011, Week Forty-Five

Boy, Vincent and Shayla are seeing something that's got them super excited.
It's their baby brother Zoran Gardner Kelly!!!
He was born on Novemember 7th at 6:29 PM. He was 18.5 inches and 7lbs 1 oz. What a beautiful baby boy!
Now that Keegan is a crawling machine, we were going to put away the mobile but these two found new ways to play with it.
Silly boys!
A happy picture of Keegan and his Mommy.
Cutie Keegan.
If Orlando had a phone that worked properly, he would not have taken Dallin to the dentist a month early. Dallin was pretty upset that he didn't get his teeth cleaned so Orlando took him to two parks (which he was planning on doing anyways). There were a ton of ladybugs zipping around the turtle domes and landing on Dallin.
The guys also played in leaves that were actually dry and crunchy!
And they discovered a stream with a few waterfalls.
Darth Lightyear America.
Another great day in the backyard.
Keegan, "Okay, the barrage of leaves was fun the first 25 times but I think I'm done now."
Keegan loves to eat broccoli!
Baby Zoran came home to loving arms and warm smiles.
It's hard to determine who was more adorable.
Waugh! Somebody needs a haircut!
Grandma Sheila was so incredibly wonderful this week.
It's never too early to develop good hygiene habits.
Dallin continues to be a super helper.
These three are just too awesome.
And finally, this was the week where it all got back into place. A new car, Orlando's new phone, Phatboi got his cone taken off, the moles headed south for the winter, and baby Zoran was born!

2011, Week Forty-Four

AHHHH! It must be Halloween because Grandma Denise is the bride of Frankenstein!
From the super scary to the absolutely adorable.
Don't you just want to pick up that cuddly lion!
Be careful, that lion cub might pounce on you.
Meanwhile at Wizards of the Coast, Tara and the rest of her department united in the cause to occupy the establishment, Halloween style!
Their department won the contest for the third year in a row. Good job!
Our friendly neighborhood group of trick-or-treaters ready to get as much candy as they can carry.
A beautiful night, and a lot of fun for everyone. Well, almost everyone. Phatboi went to the vet to be treated for a possible broken tail. The good news? Not broken. The bad? Apparently he got into a scrap with another cat who did some pretty serious damage to his hind quarters. So after an embarrassing shave, lots of meds, and an inconvenient cone, we see the poor guy looking sad and pitiful.
Look at Keegan's newest milestone!

Giant mushrooms have popped up all over the backyard.
Keegan has found a new way to entertain himself and his brother during meals. Spitting his food out. Tara and Orlando try very hard not to laugh with him but he's just too cute!
Kylee played with us again, this time on the train at the mall.
Well, it had to happen sometime. Orlando's beloved Saturn was put out onto the street so that we wouldn't need to scrape the ice off the windows of the loaner car in the morning. Soon it will be in someone else's care. That will be a bittersweet day indeed.
These guys, always wrestling each other now.
Surprise baby shower for Missy! The ladies had a grand time.
Silly Dallin.
And very sweet how well he tenderly cares for his baby Spider-man.
Happy birthday to Orlando!
The ten of us pictured below were caught in a Laser Quest Saturday night. Tara did especially well, coming in sixth place out of thirty-two with Orlando in ninth and Shawn in eleventh. We all had such a fun time that we are sure to do it again soon.
Back home for a crazy Ticket to Ride game dominated by the birthday boy.
Who apparently is getting younger, according to the Wii. The fact that he was holding Keegan may have had something to do with that.
Missy will be induced on Monday !!!
