2012, Week Twenty-One

Orlando was able to get the battery in the Pilot replaced Monday afternoon, thankfully. He couldn't resist capturing this image of the momma semi and her offspring. His journey home was troublesome as he was forced to restring the tarp over the couch on top of the Honda many times and ended up arriving back home way past midnight.
Keegan loves to wear Dallin's boots and hold the cat.
Vincent and Dallin can't get enough of each other.
Back to Moses Lake where Keegan absolutely lost his mind!
Who reads stories better than Grandmas?
Windy weather with wrestling wranglers.
Hot and sunny weather calls for a respite on the shady swing.
Piano trio time!
Chalk this day up to good fun.
Nothing but love was served on the tennis courts.
The gathering of multiple family members to play games is simply magical.
Pool party!
Jump in the fun!
These three brave swimming stars were jumping in by themselves over and over again.
Run! It's the attack of the grinning matching polo shirt Montoya monsters!
All aboard the Uncle Shawn express!
Keegan will try anything when it comes to food. He loved his first corn on the cob!
Happy birthday, Tara!
Tara had plays, skits, and shorts performed for her enjoyment, courtesy of Director Haley. The sun setting was a nice touch too!
What better way to end the week than sweet stories from Grandma.
How about playing team Wii Party and sheep in my pen after the kids went down!

2012, Week Tweenty

Sprinkler time! The weather was so hot that the kids needed to play in the sprinklers to cool off.
"Stay back, Vincent! I'll try to contain the volcano's eruption!"
Saving the world in hard work. Time for a refreshing break.
We've had a tremendous run of good luck regarding strawberries lately. Not only are they the best tasting strawberries we've ever had, the're enormous! This one's as big as Dallin's head!
Dallin made this book in pre-school and was so excited to show us his sweet light-cycles that he drew. It quickly became Keegan's favorite book too!
The boys got in some quality tennis.
Keegan had a nice rally.
Friday afternoon, Orlando borrowed the Kelly's Honda Pilot and headed over to Moses Lake for the weekend for some family fun, tennis, and to collect Grandma Sheila's old couch and love seat. He also enjoyed the good times with Amber and Natalie.
Everyone else had a sweet time at the zoo, starting with the carousel!
The first zoo experience of the year was a good one. Seeing how delighted the kids were was absolutely priceless.
Komodo dragon riders!
Orlando intended to come home Sunday but the faulty battery (from Walmart) completely failed. So he'll be staying in Moses Lake a little longer. Come home soon, Daddy!

2012, Week Nineteen

Junior space rangers know the importance of good dental hygiene.
It's hard to see who is enjoying this more.
I wanna line where the green grass grows. Watch our kids pop up in rows.
Oh, and swings too.
Keegan has been loving the outdoors and the warm weather. He's so excited to show us everything.
But what does he enjoy more? The outdoors or books?
The boys explored the mysteries of the haunted cave of doom.
This is how a boy's room goes from immaculate to pig stye in the blink of an eye.
One of these days we'll figure out what's so appealing about boxes. Until then, we'll just laugh at our cute boys.
Keegan remembered his favorite hiding spot.
Bicycle mix up. Can you match the rider to their bicycle?
We don't celebrate Mother's day, per se, it's more like Mother's weekend.
We intended to run through the sprinklers at the park but they haven't been turned on yet despite the warm and sunny weather.
Pumpin' up the jams!
While it's not a bear holding a shark, it s holding an eagle while also sporting roller skates. The kids thought that it was hilarious.
Those crazy kids!
It seems that Keegan makes this face all day, every day.
The Mommas and their precious children posing for Mother's Day.
Last bike ride of the week.
Dallin's gift to Tara for Mother's Day that he made in pre-school.
Happy Mother's Day!
