2013, Week Forty-Four

The Seattle Ensign kicked off their inaugural season at Benaroya Hall with special guest soloist, Jenny Oaks Baker!
Check out this amazing number from the concert.
Mike Lewis, the percussionist, mingled with us common folk after the show.
Welcome to Fog City.  This is how it looks when Tara goes to work at 7:30 and this was taken right after she came home at 17:30.
Phatboi may be one of the unfriendliest cats, but he does have his moments.
Dallin did another amazing job assisting his team, winning the game 7-3, and scoring a GOOOOAL!
BOO! in Burien.
We met up with the Kellys and the Garrs for a spooktacular fun time.
The temperature turned cold so we warmed up in a train shop.
 Aspen and Zachary stopped by!
5 Spider powered kids!
Saturday night, Orlando hosted Mike Lewis's bachelor party. The guys started the evening at the theater where they enjoyed The Wolverine. They then endured an extra long iron man session at Laser Quest! To cap it off, they reconvened at our house for board games.
 Pumpkin carving time!
Jessalyn cut her own hair.  Thankfully, Missy caught her before more experimentation could be performed.  Thanks to the miraculous workings of her stylist, Jessalyn now has a cute style!
The kids really got into the carving this year.
 Proudly presenting their perfect pumpkins.
Wonderfully wicked!

2013, Week Forty-Three

Keegan took time out of his assistant errand running to play on the giant basketball.
Keegan is sad when his mom goes to work and he cries when his brother boards the school bus.  To help remedy his blues, Orlando tries to entertain him but when all else fails, the two of them go on an adventure.
This week they explored the beach!
A cute ladybug crawled onto Keegan's hand, much to his delight.
Keegan appeared on the pier to peer at the sea life.
Aiden stayed with us all weekend!  We had loads of fun at the church Halloween activity where the boys dressed up as Iron Patriot, Iron Man, and Iron Spider.
Games, crafts, activities, and trick-or-treating made this a night to remember.
Hats off to the amazing pirate themed room the Dempsey's decorated!
Rambunctious boys plus lots of candy equals total chaos.

2013, Week Forty-Two

The abundance of our friendly neighborhood spiders descending en masse herald the arrival of autumn.
Ethan came over to build a super fun train system.
Vincent found a new friend in a green frog at Dallin's soccer game.  Dallin's league rules don't allow for a goalie but that didn't stop him from bravely diving in front of the ball to prevent the opponents from scoring.  The opposing team received possession but were unable to score so it worked out.  Go Dallin!
The Kellys joined us at the pumpkin patch for a side-splitting good time.
How about this one, Uncle Shawn?
 Nothing but smiles all around.
So many pumpkins and cute kids too!
We absolutely love the reverse dimple that Dallin can make between his eyes.
 Silly scary group shot!
Tara and Keegan went way out to find the perfect pumpkin.
 Beautiful.
 Welcome to Orlando's newest wallpaper.
 Kids in pumpkins?!
These kids had a fun time.
One Vincent, one Dallin, and three Shaylas?!
The Smith's joined us for an engaging game night.  Especially for them since they beat Tara and Orlando!
This boy has discovered how to remove his clothing but thankfully, not his diaper yet.  It's always a surprise to discover what odd position we will find him when we need to wake him up.

2013, Week Forty-One

Our friendly neighborhood library re-opened after being completely demolished and rebuilt and we love it!
Orlando participated in a Theros booster draft and won!
Keegan is patient while his older brother helps get him ready.
A healthy mouthful.  It's a good thing Dallin likes his carrots as much as he does since it's the only vegetable that he will eat.
A beautiful sunny day at the pumpkin patch!
 There's the perfect pumpkin!
 Score!
Halloween must be drawing near for I see not one but four Dallins looking at me.
The boys really got into assisting with the assembling of the new shelves.
 We love Dallin's creative style!
He continues to practice and enjoy his archery set.
The Folkestad's introduced our Teriyaki Showdown group to Bai Tong and it was amazing.
The fellas gathered together after the priesthood session to take in the mouth watering options at Fatburger.
Spider-boys to the rescue!
