Easter Tweets!!

Virginia Kate's first Easter was quite the marathon of a day! We did 8:30 church, with family pics BEFORE church... thus we were like 20 minutes late to the service! That was followed by one of our favorite Greek traditions... GREEK EASTER! Which consists of LOTS of family and LOTS of wonderful Greek food! This year my family joined in this fun, festive event with Sam's side of the family! It was so fun to be with both sides of the family on such a joyous day! The weather was so beautiful and the lamb was amazing! We then had to rush home to go pack for VK's first beach trip since we were planning on leaving Memphis by 4... we didn't actually leave till about 5:30. So we spent Easter afternoon/night road tripping it to beautiful Santa Rosa, Florida with the Tashie family! Here are a few pics from the day! Beach pics to come! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!! He is Risen!! He is risen indeed!!

I had to add this... above is the infamous grill pit for the lamb. The men in the fam meet at 7 am to begin cooking the lamb for the family... I promise you have never tasted anything so yummy!!

Paci/teether... best invention ever!

Virginia Kate is putting EVERYTHING in her mouth! About 2 months ago, when she began doing this we were just sure she was teething! Every time she would fuss, drool, or chew on something we would say, "She must be teething!" Then when a few months with by with no teeth, we realized those were just normal baby things to do at this stage in life! Still no teeth yet, but I am sure we are close!!

As I was shopping the baby isle at the grocery... I came across this incredible invention-- the paci-teether!! I have been looking for something slim, yet tough for her to chew on to massage those gums of hers! As an added bonus it has a handle for her to hold on to! It is funny the things we get excited about as mothers!!

She already LOVES her normal paci, so I brought it home for her to try... and sure enough... it is a winner!!!

Fleming/Turpin Invitational - 2011

My sweet friend Ruthie Fleming, well now Ruthie Turpin, got hitched this weekend! It what a gorgeous day they had for the big event!! I helped with the day of the wedding brunch which was at the Fuson's gorgeous home! It was a happy day! --- and in honor of the Master's, there was a chipping contest for the boys in the front yard!

The flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS!

Overall- it was such a fun time! I wish I hadn't forgotten my camera at the wedding!!! =( But you can go to here to see pics of the beautiful wedding!! Ruthie was knock out!!! Everything about the wedding was just RUTHILICOUS! =)
