What a memorable Easter weekend this was! I love that our church has started a new tradition these past few years of putting on an Easter Eve concert at the Levitt Shell in midtown! This year Drew and Ellie Holcomb played and it was such a fun event! And not to mention the weather was PERFECT!!
Sam, his father, brother and uncle went to the practice round of the Masters the previous Monday and brought the girls back Master's gear! Sam insisted that the girls wear their Master's outfits in honor of Masters weekend! They were a hit!

Sweet Steve Fuson held Gracie while I enjoyed my dinner! She was pretty content!
Then later, Tricee fed her!! I told Sam after we left it was like a little break for me, because Gracie just kept being passed around and I was freed from my mommy duties for the night! =)

VK loved the music! As did I! It was a really fun night! I love our new Easter Eve tradition!
Easter morning we used our neighbors beautiful yard to take pictures in! Sam's mom bought VK her Easter bonnet or "hat" as she calls it! Virginia Kate loved her bonnet! She is into everything GIRLY these days! She loves any accessory! She wore her "hat" throughout all of the 8:30 service and Sunday school! She is such a little priss!

After church we stopped by Yia Yia and Papou's house so they could see the girls in their Easter dresses! So glad we got a pic of the 4 of us! It is a rarity these days! Love this one especially bc VK is holding Gracie's hand... she loves to hold her hand! It is so sweet!

I was so excited about Virginia Kate's Easter dress! The dress she wore was a dress my grandmother made for me when I was her age. I had the hem taken out and lace added to the bottom to make it a little dressier for Easter. I am so thankful for these special treasures that I get to dress my girls in. I was so close to my Gran and I miss her EVERYDAY, but it is so special to me that my girls get to wear the dresses that she made for me! It might sound silly, but it just reminds me of the legacy she left! I love Gran and miss her so! I wish I had the sewing talent she had!
HE IS RISEN!!!!!!! What a hope we have in the RISEN Lord! Richie preached an amazing sermon on Sunday morning... We have a true Hope that only comes because death was conquered once and for all... this is the true meaning of Easter! And this is what brings purpose to my life! I am so overwhelmed by the love of my Father.
After lunch, the Easter bunny came!
We had my family and the Husbands over for Easter lunch.. Sara Tyson made these yummy Easter desserts! They were adorable and YUMMY!!

She literally went and picked up each individual egg, opened it on the spot and ate what was inside!
Then we came back inside to finish watching the Masters! Sam's favorite day of the year!

Sam was so proud of his purchases he made at the Master's for his girls! He said it is the closest he is gonna get to having a son to buy sports stuff for!! And he is totally fine with that! It was an eventful weekend indeed! We are so thankful for the hope we have in Christ.
