Licking all the goodness out of the bowl.
April 30 2011
After our plethora of picking strawberries, I needed at taste of home. My Mom always makes this pie around the 4th of July (decorates the top with strawberries, blueberries, in the shape of an American Flag) and I just love it.
But as easy as this recipe is I always forget it. So I called Mom yet again for her to email me the recipe. And here it is. You can substitute any kind of fruit you want and it makes for a great pie. A great afternoon of family in the kitchen, licking the bowls, and eating the leftover fruit. Yum!!!
Strawberry Pie
1 can Dime Brand sweetened condensed milk
1/4 C lemon juice
12 oz cool whip
about 2 C strawberries (or blueberries or anything else))
