A date night wedding

June 24 2012

A wedding is a perfect date night I'd say.  You get to dress up, have a baby sitter, see friends, hear marriage vows, eat great food, and even dance to great music (if your husband dances)
Me and my honey.
Craig and Angie

And the bride and groom,  The beautiful Jordan, and dashing Blair.
 Yay, they did it.

So sweet to hear the Covenant they made with God and each other.
 And precious Joshua.

 Steven and Shawna
Our small group.  Love these people
And what do you know, my hubby humors me and dances.

Dinosaurs

June 23 2012

We decided to check out the Natural Science Museum one more time before our yearly pass expires.  The changes the exhibit to Dinosaurs and Noah is pretty interested in them.

He was pretty much awestruck and could not stop watching the moving dinosaurs.
 Fossil finding.
Noah making sure the big guy doesn't walk over and get him.

Both times we have taken Luke he loves to just sit and watch the fish.

 The boys watching the Alligators.

Week in Review

June 18-22 2012

Do you ever get behind in blogging and feel you can't catch up.  Well sometimes I do. So here is my catch up and our week in review.

After Luke's 1st boat ride on Monday night. I began thinking he is growing up too fast.  It seems to fly by with your second child.  I must be staying too busy to enjoy it all.

Can you believe this little boy will be 1 in a little over a week?  I might cry.

He learned how to make the car sound, Vroom Vroom.  It's precious to this Momma's ears.
SO, Luke learned to kick a ball today.  We were downstairs and I was making their lunch.  When all of a sudden the soccer ball Noah had been playing with was being kicked around by my almost 1 year old.  He tries every chance he gets now, if he sees the ball he goes after it.

Outside after we got tired of playing keep away from Luke with the soccer ball, we decided to pull the basket ball goal out.  Luke may not have such great skill with this sport but Noah sure likes it.
This shot, taken just in time to see the ball sail through the hoop and collide with Luke's head.  Sorry buddy.

Our post nap Kroger grocery run.  Excuse the bed head.  This was the boys saying, "We miss you daddy."  I love to text Drew pics during the day so he feels like he isn't missing so much.

Later in the week we found we had a chicken opportunist.  Luke was bound and determined to eat everyone else's food.  And was sneaky trying to grab Noah's chicken.
My growing boy has been very hungry lately.  And he likes the cold fridge and trying to grab grapes out when the door is open.

So that is pretty much how this Momma's week goes, just loving on my boys, spending time with them, and waiting our Daddy to get home.

Afternoon on the Rez

June 18 2012

We met up with the rest of the interns and spent some time on the Reservoir.  It was fun to see the boys reaction to the water.  It was Luke's first boat ride, and Noah remembered how much he loved being out there.

Luke didn't like the life jacket so much, but Momma held him. and he liked going fast.

Goat island.  Where there are just two random goats living on and island ( to keep the weeds down ).
 Abe and Ryan tubing.

A little crochet.
 Some grilling with Tim.
 My little man.
 Some bubble blowing.

Noah learned how to fish.  This sweet little boy was so patient with him.  And Noah loved "shishing" and didn't want to leave.
 The yummy grub.
Later our friend Peter drove in, and was just in time for a boat ride.
While Momma and Luke stayed back, snacked, and watched the geese.
Luke's face here is priceless.
 I loved the baby ones.
It was a successful ride.
