Serkan and Sengul Wedding

We got all "dressed" (this is as fancy as we get here) up and headed out to a wedding.
Anna making friends with the flower girl.

My turkish tutor, Sengul and Serkan.  She is the sweetest young lady.  And Drew met with Serkan a couple of times.  We really like this couple.

Anna's toys...........juice boxes.
The couple doing the Horon (black sea dancing).
Me and my anna bird.
Their first dance.

Weddings are different here than in the states.  They are usually held at a reception type venue.  There  is not walking down the aisle.  They come in and dance, greet people, sit at a head table where a "judge" sits along with two witnesses and they are asked if they accept one another as a spouse.......to which they say "EVET" (yes) in a hopefully cheerfully loud voice, they sign a document and viola they are married.  They are announced as husband and wife.  Mr and Mrs. __________ and they stand down at front with fabric draping their necks so people can pin gold and money to them. Have their picture taken, and then there is more dancing and cake.
It was a fun night.

Free falling

Well a few seconds of it.  Had a chance at a quick dip in the black sea as the storm was on its way and rolling in fast.  Here is Drew jumping off a big rock.

Noah was so proud he could swim (with Daddy) all the way out there to have his picture made.
While Drew was gone one day, I braved taking all three out by myself.  I had very strict rules about hand holding, and they ran and lasted a whole 30 minutes until they were "tired."  Anna girl didn't like the texture of the grass.
But my boys are having fun.
