So are Pumpkins.......

Here they have white, grey, and multi colored pumpkins.  Not many are orange but inside they are mostly the same.  One makes great pumpkiny things and lots of my favorite, pie, and cookies.

Luke giving our pumpkin a roll before we cooked it up.
Noah is busy learning about Columbus and the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria in homeschool.

And our little lady got her crib moved to a big bed.
And she loved it.

Her second night and she knows right what to do.

I can't get over just how big she looks.
I love that all my kids have had the same bedding.
And the freedom that it brings is just fun to watch.

Fall is here

Fall is indeed here and we are loving the cooler weather,  well when it doesn't rain.  Friends come to visit and we get to see/meet new little ones.   Zeynep moved away but we love when she comes back to visit her family, that means we get to see her too.

Deniz is just the sweetest baby.
Just the littlest feet in our family on a walk in the fall weather.
This was our view after the rain storm.

Headed to the Bul'

I packed up to take Luke to Istanbul, but first ( the night before ) our friend Ayuba came over.  Drew met him (from Nigeria) playing basketball and it was so good to see and spend time with an African again.
They had lots to talk about.

The next morning, this little travel bug thought she was going somewhere.
She gave us the biggest pouty lip at the airport when we didn't get her out and take her with us.
Luke has hyper-mineralization on his teeth, it's and idiopathic condition that makes the enamel very soft.  It's a genetically passed though Drew and I don't have problems it was passed down somehow.    At least for his baby teeth.  So he had 3 cavities that needed fixing.  So he had to be put under to do it.  He needs these teeth till he's eleven so we couldn't wait too long.

This is my loopy boy before he went back for his outpatient procedure.
he's not sad just out of it.
Dr. Ferhan did a great job, and actually fixed 5 teeth while she was in there so we might not have as many problems later.  He had 2 root canals on major molars, and 2 cavitites fixed, and one patch on his canine.

Afterward he woke up a little upset because Daddy wasn't there.
But after about and hour he was begging to go and glad to be done.  With no pain we headed to Shake Shack for a milkshake.
My sweet friend Jess spent the whole day with us and was my support when I needed her.
He had fun the rest of the day playing with the kiddos.

The next day, we had one more check up and made it to the airport to head home.

Seaside

My Drew and Anna watching the boats.
Sassy girl has gotten into throwing rocks just like her brothers.

We pulled out our PBandJ's and quickly put them back up to eat in the car later.  The yellow jackets have put real fear in these kiddos.
Noah and Luke always building their alter.
A little baseball on the beach, until the ball got lost in the rocks somewhere.
Love these two boys.
Then we hit the playground on the way home.

Luke getting ready for the races.
An some Sunday shots of Anna with the pumpkins

Football tackles

We had a morning out practicing football.  The boys were soaking up all that Daddy was saying.

The first tackle

There was lots of running in different directions

And some grass stains for Momma to get out of laundry.

My girl and I passed the time looking at the sea.

overlooking the city.

And Noah Saying Pslams 100 for school later that afternoon at home.
