Madilynn is now one! She was treated to some banana and pancake breakfast and a picnic at the park for lunch. She wanted to jump in with the ducks, but we told her she had to be at least two to do something that crazy. She also got a new car seat. We really spoiled her.
Her stats: 19 pounds (25%) 28 1/2 inches (25%)
Her 3 B's: Blanket, Binkie, and Baby (she is often found in pursuit of me with these 3 things in tote)
Her favorite foods: bananas, grapes, strawberries, yogurt, avocados, sweet potatoes, graham crackers, cheese, and any carb she can get her hands on- pancakes, muffins, bread.
Her favorite things: playing outside, playing with balls, dancing, reading books (her favorite being Brown Bear, Brown Bear), being tickled, and trying to play anything that Samantha is playing.
Her least favorite things: green beans, peas, her car seat, any time when she doesn't have my full attention!
She doesn't really have any "words" yet, but she does say "ma ma" and says "ya" and shakes her entire body when she wants something. It is adorable.
All in all, she is an entirely different baby than she was even one month ago. She cries at least 50% less. She sleeps from about 7pm-6:30am. She is finally enjoying bath time. She doesn't cry at every meal. She happily wanders around. It is awesome. She is awesome. I love to just kiss her sweet little cheeks and pretend to chase her around. Chris has also taught her how to wrestle and she suddenly changes when he walks in the door into a crazy tackling baby.
