Finally! American Girl Doll!

Savannah has wanted an American Girl for well..forever! So for her birthday we took her down to the American Girl Place! That place is overwhelming! It's huge! She had a ton of fun there looking for the perfect doll that looked just like her! Her brother Tyler was so sweet to accompany her on this little journey! She named her doll "Paige"! Savannah and Paige were totally worn out at the end of the day!

Savannah Turns 7!!

Wow! Time is really flying! Can't believe my baby is 7!! She chose her little cake and then decided we were good enough to get us a separate chocolate cake! (gee thanks little princess!) There was a school ice cream open house that night...so we teased her that the whole school was throwing a party just for her! We are so glad we have her in our family!

Our New Neighbors!

We have a little den of 5 pups and a mommy fox about 3 houses down. They chose our backyard and next door to play in! Lots of fun to watch. They were out for about 2 hours! I love the top picture! I went to sneek a little closer to them and Mommy fox let out one bark...4 of the pups ran to the brush. This little one didn't want to listen so she gave him a stearn look and a louder bark...he put his ears back and then obeyed! I totally can empathize with her.

The Man and the Machine!

For Nathan's science fair project this year he decided to make a Whimhurst Machine with his friend. They ended up making 2 completely from scratch! No kit, store bought parts! Lots of welding, cutting, and even threading of parts! Thank goodness his friend's dad is an engineer! If left up to us they'd be making a volcano! A+ job! (and he loved doing it!)

The "Magic" Garden

Got up early this morning to go and visit one of my visting teaching sisters and her "magic" garden. Savannah loves to come with me here. It truely is one of the most magical places! It was even more beautiful with the bright sun reflecting off all the greenery. She had fun playing hide-and-seek with the butterflies! I never want her to grow up!!!
(you can click on the collage to make it bigger..and if you want it even bigger..you can click on it again!)

Elvis is in the House!

Tyler had his musical this past week. The them was the 50's. I've never seen Tyler get so into practicing the music. For the past month he's been in love with Elvis songs. He even downloaded them on his Ipod and plays them all the time! But when it came time to go to the musical...he insisted on dressing "nicely" in an outfit Grandma Jane and Grandpa Ron had given him..The rest of the kids were in 50's outfits, and one even had an Elvis wig on. Didn't even phase Tyler. If you know Tyler he strongly believes in dressing up nicely for these occasions, and nothing can change his mind!!!! Rock on little Elvis!
By the way..totally appolygize for the quality of these pics...not using the "nice" camera...batteries were dead on it! Oh...and we all decided we think he has a mini crush on that cute girl next to him!

My Little Sunshine

So it was a very rainy day..but Savannah knew that means Spring is on it's way. She decided to make little flower cupcakes when she got home from school. Then she put on her raincoat and rain boots and off she went to deliver them to her friends! She's such a little piece of sunshine!
