Savannah loves it when Tyler practices his piano. She dances her heart out in all sorts of princess/fairy costumes. Tyler is such a great big brother for letting her!(As a side note...I don't know how Nathan can read in the same room as them??!!!)

Saturday was a pretty special day. Tyler was baptized. We all are so proud of him and his decision to follow Jesus. Of course I cried from the moment we entered the church building to the time we left! Gets me every time I attend these..especially when it's one of my own.

It's fun to see the kids play and cook with my Mom! They enjoyed an extra day off of school with her today due to the windchill of -39.

My Mom flew in on Tuesday and of course the kids were soooo excited! When she called and said she was about 30 min. away they started waiting and watching at the window for her car to pull up. I had to sneak this cute picture of them!

Let's just say that Gary does not share the same enthusiasm as me for geocaching. That said...he was a very good sport when we dragged him out caching with us for 3 hours on the 8 degree day yesterday. The kids had so much fun, and I even think that the smile you see on Gary's face may have been real. (I'm sure he won't admit to it though!)

As if Christmas Eve and New Years didn't provide enough of a reason to party...Gary and Tyler both celebrated their birthdays the last week in December! They decided to go out for ice cream. Tyler turned the "Big 8". He's so excited to be baptized in a couple of weeks!

The is the 1st Christmas we have spent by ourselves in years!!! We missed everyone, but it was very relaxing. We were able to take everything at our own pace.
