Team Jogan

I am laughing pretty hard at myself right now and I thought you all would get a kick out of this too! So I had just a regular day at school of observing Jr. High teachers. It was actually pretty boring... so I got home and took a nap. Pretty regular day. But then I woke up and Logan was home and we couldn't decide on anything to eat. So I got really grouchy because I was hungry but nothing sounded good. That's where it all started. We were watching House (Tuesday nights are House nights! :) and Logan decided to eat cereal for dinner and so he ate and ate and I just sat there and watched cuz I really didn't want cereal. So I got grouchier and grouchier. Then Logan fell asleep while watching House. And I started to get silly, I was laughing hysterically at everything dumb on the episode. And after it ended I decided to go to Taco Time to get myself some tator tots because that was the ONLY thing that sounded good! So I woke up Logan up and told him I was going and he decided to go with me. We drove all over Rexburg before really deciding that I wanted tator tots and then went back to Taco Time (which is just down the street from my apartment). So we got them and then parked at Porter Park to eat them. We were just chillin, eatin tator tots and I started laughing at everything he said. EVERYTHING. It got to the point where he didn't have to say anything and I was laughing hysterically. And then I was mad because I couldn't stop!!! And so then I started crying and ended up sobbing hysterically for a while... while Logan was freaking out trying to figure out what was wrong and what he could do! Poor guy... So I finally calmed down enough to breath a little bit and finish my tator tots. Then we went home and Logan was asking me what was up with that little laughing/sobbing episode. But I had no idea!! So I guess it all comes down to being pregnant. Within a two minute period I think I experienced every emotion possible :) So fun.

On Wednesday Logan and I had a very exciting day. Actually... initially it was really boring. He was in school all day and I had district inservice, which ended up being REALLY boring. So because I was excited for 3pm, it was one of the longest days ever! But 3pm FINALLY came and I picked Logan up from school and we went to the doctors! We got in really quick, which was a first, because they are almost always behind (can't blame them... since the doctors have to cram in random people going into labor :). But we got in quick (maybe nobody was having babies that day!) and immediately started our ultrasound. It was cool to look at the little heart beating and also to see my baby move instead of just feeling it all the time. The ultrasound was about 15 minutes long and right at the end we found out whether we are having a boy or a girl. I was pretty surprised, but Logan was right and had been guessing right since I told him I was pregnant. We are having a girl! We are really excited and it was the first time while at the doctors office that I almost cried. It just suddenly all seemed real, and I was really excited to meet my little girl in about 4 months. 

About half way through last semester Logan and I found out I was pregnant and we were very excited!! Our baby is due February 26th. We have been married for about two years. We met through Logan's roommate, Blake, when Blake asked me on a date randomly on campus one day. We went out and Logan doubled with us; about a month later, Logan and I were dating and a few months after that we were engaged. We got married Aug 11, 2006. Now that you know us a little better I want to use this blog to share our experiences as we go through this pregnancy and start our little family. I also just wanted a way for family and friends to see pictures and read stories of our experiences.

I wanted to create one of these... and someday I'll put more into it. Probably when we someday have a baby like the Grimmer's and have something to put on here.
