Team Jogan

So Sunday was our first day of church with Emma! I was really nervous about how much sleep we were going to get the night before... and when she was going to be hungry. We ended up REALLY lucky! We got her all dressed up cute, and then took pictures and fed her. We made it to church with a couple minutes to spare! People kept telling us how adorable she is, and I just can't argue with them... anyway, she fell asleep in the car on the way to church, and then slept until the last 15 minutes of church. Then she started to wake up and Logan had to take her out of her carseat to play... then she got mad because she was hungry, but really, all in all, it went great, and it was nice to be at church again and feel the spirit.

I've wanted to do this post for a while. Here is a couple of pictures of Logan when he was a baby and a picture of me and one of Emma. Just for fun... who does she look like?

1.Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant ? at my apt in Appletree Apts in Rexburg, ID

2.Who was with you? i was alone... logan was on campus studying for a test

3. How did you find out you were pregnant? Home Pregnancy Test

4. What was your first reaction to being pregnant? I was really happy. I went back into my bedroom and just laid there on the bed until Logan called and asked if I'd taken the test yet... haha

5. Who was the first person you told? logan of course and then he told his friends... and i told bre

6. Did you plan to get pregnant? yup. 

7. Did you tell everyone else right away? within a week most people knew, couldnt keep it in

8. Was everyone happy for you? yeah, surprised and happy

9. Did you go out n celebrate? i dont think so

10. Did you want find out the sex? yup

11. What was the sex? girl :D

12. Did anyone throw you a shower? ive had one so far, but my sister is throwing another one in a couple weeks

13. Did you get any outfits that you knew you wouldn't ever put on your baby? uhm i dont think so

14. How much weight did you gain? like 35

15. Did you lose all the weight that you gained? its only been 2 weeks! i have no idea where im at i havent weighed myself at all...

16. Did you get any stretch marks? yes... ugly little things

17. What did you crave the most? pizza rolls. but after i found out about the gestational diabetes i couldnt eat a lot of them :(

18. Did you crave anything crazy? uhm no. pickles once... and then pizza rolls ALL the time. i cried once when we ran out on a sunday and logan went to the neighbors and the happened to have some :D

19. Who or what got on your nerves? everything haha. i didnt like to be touched by anyone or anything

20. Did you have any complication with your pregnancy? gestational diabetes, it sucks

21. When and where did you go into labor? at home lying in bed i woke up in pain, but the contractions lasted all day before they did anything.

22. Did your water break? no, the doctor broke it for me

23. Who drove to the hospital? Logan! he forced me to go so they could hook me up to an IV

24. Who was in the room when you gave birth? my mom, logan, 2 nurses, and the doctor

25. Did you go early or late? 2 days early

26. How long were you in labor for? 24 hours 3am to 3am. it sucked haha

27. Did you have drugs for the pain? epidural. thank goodness! well... for 6 hours of it.

28. Natural or C-section? Natural

29. What was your first reaction when she was first born? i was shocked, haha, she was really there. i think the first thing i said was that she was asian

30. How big was she? 7lbs 9oz

31. Did your peoples cry? i really dont think so. my mom is good at hiding it though and i was very caught up in the moment not paying attention to that haha

32. What did you name your baby? Emma Hermione

33. Any significant Meaning? Emma after Jane Austen's Emma and Hermione after Hermione Granger from Harry Potter

34. Any visitors? Yep lots

35. Did baby have any complication? cord wrapped around her neck, but it was taken care of quickly

36. How old is your baby today? 2 weeks and 1 day

37. When is the next one coming? in a couple years i think...

38. If you could would you do it all over again? yeah def
