Team Jogan

Emma and I just hung out together for Halloween evening. Logan had to study so he was gone the whole time.

Today Emma and I went to our neighbor, Tallin's, soccer game! It was fun to watch all the kids chase the ball around and around :)

*Emma crawled all over me at the soccer game and then went to sleep in about two seconds in the car on the way home!*

*Tallin is really good at soccer and older than all the other kids, so he pretty much dominated everyone*

Story:

I am afraid of 3 things: the dark, ketchup, and BEES (yellow jackets, hornets, etc).

So on the way home from the soccer game I hear this buzzing noise, I ignored it until I was finally annoyed and looked behind me. THERE WAS A BEE (YELLOW JACKET, HORNET... SOMETHING LIKE THAT) ON THE WINDOW!! I freaked out and rolled down the window and then then bee flew around the car a little bit and then finally went out the window. To say the least, it completely freaked me out, and we probably almost got in an accident while I was panicking... but we survived.

We're sad those neighbors, the Tervort's, are moving for a few months, but glad they will be back soon. Laura had to get her apartment all cleaned today, and planned to do it by herself, she kept telling everyone she didn't want help... but after I got back from our ward Trunk-or-Treat Carnival, I went to her apartment and forced her to let me help :) I usually don't like to clean much, but it ended up being really enjoyable. I think it's always A LOT more fun to clean when it's service for someone you love. Anyways, it was a great experience, even though I'm still up at 1:00am!

I LOVE Emma. The last few days, I'm not sure why, but my heart has been really full. When I look at her it just makes me so happy. I am so excited to eventually have a big family. Last night I went in to check on Emma and I was just standing there watching her sleep and she grabbed her blanket and started chewing on it, still asleep. She slowly opened her eyes and looked up at me, I laughed a little bit cuz it was cute, and she smiled at me with a mouthful of blanket. Then she seemed to realize she had a blanket in her mouth and she smiled sheepishly at me with a look that said, "Aw mom, you caught me eating my blanket... how embarrassing." It was super sweet.

So to get out and hang out with other girls I've started setting up some "GNO" or "Girl's Night Out" parties. We just do crafts, talk, hang out, and eat goodies for a couple of hours while our husbands watch our kids. It's really nice to get out of the house and have "girl time". This one was a goodbye party for my friend Laura, who is moving for a couple of months. She was sort of sick so came late, and then wouldn't let me post any pictures of her. But we love her anyway. I think we are going to have these parties about once a month! So fun!

Today was Logan's birthday! He is 26!! I got him Transformers 2 (edited), he was really surprised and happy. We also went and spent the night (the night before Logan's birthday) at Izzy and Nick's in Rexburg, which was a lot of fun! Then today we ate at Original Thai (YUM!) and then went back to Pocatello, where my parents took us to dinner at Red Lobster, which was surprisingly DELICIOUS!

I've really gotten into the baby bow making thing lately--I LOVE IT! I would love to make TONS and TONS of them. I'm considering making them and selling them... tell me what you think!

Emma has been sick--doctor said he's 95% she has swine flu. He didn't want to test her because he says the tests aren't really all that accurate as to which flu it is... so yeah. Her temperature only got up to 101.5, but that was enough for her to be grouchy and a little lethargic. She's almost better now :) Last night she wouldn't go to bed until about midnight! AHHH! But at least that means she's feeling better!
