Soccer Player

We were at my parent's ward Memorial Day breakfast that they have every year and after it was over, I turned around to see Emma...

She's a natural :)

Abby Can Move!

Emma Update!

I love Emma! She cracks me up and has the happiest little personality.
She also very independent and only likes to do things on her time.
She is very helpful with Abby and likes to give her hugs and play with her.
She's also had an obsession with blankets and hiding lately. She likes to sit under them all of the time. In the car, during nap time, watching movies, or just randomly in the middle of the floor. She also likes to walk around and run into things with a blanket over her head, silly girl.

I LOVE Emma's hair. I think it's gorgeous and one day I was sitting behind her and had to snap a picture because of how pretty it looked. She has a ton of hair and people often think she is a lot older than she is because it's so long and thick.

He favorite movie right now is Cars and she asks every day to "watch cars?" I love that she can communicate so well with me now... of course unless she has a binky in her mouth and I can't understand her... that's a habit we need to break her of soon :S

For FHE last week Logan and Emma built a fort and played in it.

She is such a happy kid. Everything is fun and whenever I ask her if she wants to do something she says "YEAH!" in a super excited voice.
I also love that she still vaguely remembers her uncle Mike. When I ask her what Mike says, she says "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY". If you watch videos in past posts you'll notice that's what he used to say to her all of the time. And when I get on Mike's mission blog (my mom set it up, it's pretty neat!) she sees his picture and says "Mike! HEEEEY"

Rice Cereal

Abby's first time eating rice cereal! She loved it, she's been ready to eat real food for a while now!

Zoo Boise!

We had to go to Boise to take our car to Logan's parents and get our new car. We picked up our car in Twin Falls and had to take separate cars to Boise. I took Abby and Logan took Emma. Abby cried for a lot of the way... but we made it. We visited with my friend Sara and her husband Zach, I hadn't seen them in a long time so that was fun! Emma loved their cat and dog, poor animals were chased and petted all over that house :) Anyway, we stayed the night at a hotel cuz Logan's sister Andrea flew in to drive the car to Washington at about midnight.
The next day we stopped at the Boise Zoo. It's called Zoo Boise, which seemed backwards and drove me crazy... oh well :)

This guy squawked really loud at Emma and scared her!

This little boat ride was a lot of fun! Emma loved it and they went by some monkeys that Emma just LOVED. There were also some ducks that Emma loves to quack at!

Giraffes!

Lions!

Giraffe slide!

Prairie dogs! The little guy in the second picture kept scratching right at Emma, she loved it!

Riding the komodo dragon!

Hiding in a cave!

Bath Time!

Emma and Abby took a bath together for the first time the other day!
(Logan had to sit there and hold Abby up the whole time.)

Abby @ 6 Months!

Abby is 6 months old!
Height: 26.5 in
Weight: 16 lbs 1/2 oz
She's in about the 50th percentile.
She is growing so fast it's crazy!
People are constantly telling me that she is adorable and has gorgeous eyes. (And who am I to argue?)
Her eyes are dark brown and very large. We were at Wal-Mart the other day and the lady checking our stuff out told us her eyes were like deep lakes and you could see yourself reflected in them. We were like... ok... haha.
Anyway, she's already moving! She scoots around all over the place and whines when she doesn't get attention. But her whine is usually more of a high-pitched scream that surprisingly hasn't shattered any glass yet!

She's usually really happy but teething sure is a bugger. We've been teaching her lately to sleep in her crib in Emma's room... it's been quite a change for us all... and a very slow process.

She sometimes likes to suck on her thumb, I've been fighting it, so it's really not a constant thing. But it still gets in there occasionally.

Learning to crawl. At first she'd just lift her arms and legs and do the "swim move" and not get anywhere.

Popsicle! COLD! She pulled some good faces when he first gave it to her that said "What?!?! You guys eat this stuff???"... but then she wanted more.

Screamer

When she's not getting enough attention...
And sometimes even when she is....

Em & Abs

I love my little girls. They are such a joy in my life. I love teaching them and seeing how quickly they learn new things. They are very smart and very loving. Emma loves to give Abby hugs and kisses and make her smile.

*Silly Emma*

I love Emma. She is a very smart girl. She can sing all sorts of songs, count to 12, and speak in short sentences. She also has very long pretty hair! I love to do it, when she lets me touch it for longer than a few seconds.
The other day she was carrying a bunch of stuff inside for Logan from the car and was struggling so I grabbed something to help and she smiled and me and said "oh tanks!" It was the cutest thing ever. I'm grateful that every time she does something for me I have said Thanks ever since she was little and now she just naturally knows to say it. Today I sneezed in front of her and she said "bless you". I guess she's naturally picked up that one also.

*The girls hanging out on Mommy's bed*

*Emma loves playing with Abby, and sometimes... Abby loves it too!*

*Abby looking up to her sister, she just LOVES her*

*Emma loves blanket forts*

*Watching a show together*

*Hugs*

*Holding hands*

*Emma's hair how it naturally falls. I think it is very pretty.*

*Emma loves to pretend to sleep in Abby's bassinet*

*I found my toes!*

*Teething.... she has two teeth already!*

*We are eager for the weather to stay nice so we can play outside!!*

Abby is a very happy girl. She loves to laugh and smile. For some reason she thinks it's hilarious when I say "skype". Who knows why! She also loves to talk and is very loud, she's a screamer! When she wants attention and doesn't have it, she'll scream really loud, and really high pitched--I was sure she'd break glass the last time she screamed.

*Such a happy girl :) *
