Father's Day

What a good Daddy!

We had a good Father's Day!

Logan slept in, got breakfast in bed,

got a jamba juice gift card and balloon (from emma),

a bike tune-up,

and just spent time with the family.

We love our Daddy and we are so glad he's ours for eternity!

We are visiting Twin Falls for a couple of weeks while Logan subs at the Smiths Pharmacy here. I have been loving it here. There is a possible job opportunity here when Logan graduates and I really hope it works out! We have been staying at Logan's Grandpa's house and it has been super nice. He has a cousin that lives across the street and we have had a lot of fun with their family!

*The other day I put Emma down for her nap and she said, "night, night, sleep good k?" It was super cute.*

*She just loves her sister!*

In Spite of the Bad Days

My kids are awesome. They are two of the cutest little girls that have ever lived. I'm not biased or anything.

But I'll be the first to admit that I have my bad days too. Days when I want to scream and cry and pull my hair out. Like today for example...

Abby woke up 5 times last night. So not much sleep.

Drove Logan to work only to get home and discover I was locked out of the house.

Gave Emma a bath which involved numerous soaking wet towels and clothes.

Also couldn't get the internet to work for over an hour only to discover all I needed to do was restart the computer.

I love days like today.

But then... I take a breathe and count to 10 and look at my kids...

and realize I am so lucky.

I LOVE my job.

I LOVE my kids.

I've never been happier.

In spite of the bad days.

Last night she woke up every hour for like 5 hours straight.... ahhhh! Come on Abby let's start sleeping through the night! Send me some happy thoughts.

Broken Sprinkler & Nap Time Humor

My parents had a broken sprinkler head so Emma and Abby played in it for a little bit.

And just as a humorous story...

Emma refused to sleep for naptime today. Instead she yelled "Logan! Logan! Get up!" the whole time.

Snake River Flooding & Feeding the Ducks

We went and checked out the falls in IF. The river is so full that the falls are only a couple of feet high! It's crazy how much water we have had this year. So I took a bunch of pics of all the flooding along the river. We also fed the ducks (shhhh don't tell... since you supposedly aren't supposed to anymore), and Emma loved that!

Poppa's Backyard

Emma calls my dad Poppa. They have a swingset and a trampoline in the backyard and Emma just LOVES it. She asks my dad all of the time to take her outside.

We'd put Abby in front of Emma when she was swinging and then pull her out of the way just in time and she would just crack up. I'll post the video in a couple of weeks when my internet is faster.

Abby has been the happiest little girl lately. I love it! She giggles and smiles all of the time. She also LOVES cords. Finds them even when I swear I've picked them all up and put them away.
