Emma-ism

The other day I was teaching Emma, Logan's full name. I said its " Logan Matthew Campbell" and she answered "Daddy Matthew Campbell". Cracked me up!
We were at the mall yesterday playing at the playland and my friend suddenly says, "oh! Emma!" so I turned and Emma had pulled off her pants and underwear! Oh dear! Silly girl... Good blackmail story for the future I guess.

Abby's Birthday!

My beautiful princess Abby turned one! I really can't believe is been an entire year since she joined our family. Feels like just yesterday and at the same time it feels like she's been here forever. I don't think Emma even remembers life without her!
Abby loves to walk and run around. She also loves to twirl in circles to music.
She loves to hold baby dolls and pat there backs.
She loves to give kisses and hugs.
She is a little snuggler.
She's pretty serious and it can be hard to get her to laugh...unless you tickle her!
She has 7 cute little teeth. She loves to eat. Blueberries and cheese are her favorites.
She loves to take baths with Emma, but she's terrified of bubble baths. I tried to get her to take one and then she wouldn't even get in water without bubbles for a while!
She says, "mama, dada, i did it, Jesus, ooooh, and cheese."

Here are pictures from her birthday:

Emma loved helping Abby open her presents!

Abby's cupcake!

Here are some videos from the celebration!

The Binky

So a while back I took Emma's binky away and told her she could only have it at pastime and nighttime, she didn't hardly put up a fight (though sometimes she hides with Abby's binky...). Anyway, we bought her a little Carebear doll because she loves the show and decided to trade her for it for the binky. She didn't even batt an eye. Night number two just passed and she has not asked for her binky yet! I think we are pretty lucky!!

I Just Love It When They Play Together

The Purple One!

Lately, just for fun, I've been asking Emma what she wants for Christmas and her reply has been, "I want the purple one!" Needless to say I had no clue what purple something she wanted. It probably took me about two weeks before I realized she meant that she wanted the purple Christmas tree we had seen at Walmart!
We threw away our old Christmas tree because there was a mouse living in it... So this year we had to buy a new one. So we went and got the purple one... It was the cheapest tree we cold find anyway...
To say the least, Emma LOVES it! She sits next to it daily and wants the lights on all of the time...
So the other day she got done with lunch and was sitting next to the tree. I was in the kitchen when I heard a CRASH! I waited for a minute and I could hear a little "uh oh! Uh oh! Oh no!" so I walked in. The Christmas tree was on the ground and Emma was up on the desk trying to drag it back up by the lights. I was mad at the time, but now when I think about it... I crack up. Wish I would have gotten a picture! Anyway, I picked up the tree and put it back and then turned to Emma and said, "I guess you will have to go to time out now, huh?" and she said, "yeah" and walked herself right over to the corner! I guess she new she was in trouble, haha.

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was a nice break! We enjoyed spending time with family and having Daddy home for a week! We also enjoyed Black Friday! Got lots of Christmas presents taken care of. I didn't get to bed Friday morning til 6am! I love the craziness of shopping that day!

Dinner:
Abby loving the yams!
Gotta love the kids hats!
Can you spot what's wrong with this picture? Emma invaded the bike with a guinea pig.
Abby is very good at getting stuck in random places...
And she has a mean mom that makes her figure out by herself how to get down. She knows how to climb on one of our couches and also how to climb off of it. She also loves to climb into Emma's toddler bed... And even though it's shorter than the couch she has not yet been brave enough to climb off of it, haha. She just sits on it and cries.
More silly hats. Abby loves having things on her head!

Visiting Laura

Logan had a test and I really missed my friend Laura, so I packed up the kids and went down to Utah for a visit. I had a great time and am really glad I went. Mostly we just hung out while the kids played. We also sent to PF Changs for some lettuce wraps... I've been wanting to do that FOREVER so that was awesome! Also, I saw a Bajios and HAD to eat there cuz they don't have them in Idaho anymore! The kids got along really well. Emma and Savannah loved playing ponies, princesses, and dress up together. And Davey, Savannah, and Emma had a great time coloring. Abby and Ellie both can walk (they are two days apart), so they wandered around the house together. We only stayed one night.... But none of the kids would sleep! Abby would only sleep in my arms and Emma ended up curled up next to me on the floor. I am glad I could go... But I wish we still lived by each other so I wouldn't have to visit!

Poor Daddy's Subwoofer

We went to watch Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 last night and the subwoofer was just a rattling away, so this is what we got out of it:

Emma loves to stash stuff in it... We didn't empty it out that long ago. I guess it's her secret hiding place...

Abby's Coming!

Poor Abby doesn't even know she's being picked on.... Mason and Emma play this game: Abby's Coming! They run away from her and she follows. She thinks it's great cuz she gets to run around with them... They run away screaming "Abby's coming! Hurry! Run!"

Cute Abby and Fun in a Box

Abby is such a cutie! She loves to pull things out and put them back like in the first picture of her with the cue tips...

This smiling girl was up and hyper at about 11pm... Mommy doesn't like that game...

I LOVE the dress Abby is in. One of my favorites.

We had some diapers come in the mail in this box and the girls have had a blast playing in it. I love how they play together now!

First Snow!

It snowed like 2 or 3 inches here in Pocatello and Emma and Abby loved playing in it. Abby kept saying "ooooooh" which she now says to everything she thinks is cool.
