A Scare

So it seems... every time I get pregnant I always have a few problems :)
Yesterday I woke up from my nap feeling... wet. So I went into the bathroom and it looked like my water had broke. Which freaked me out since I'm only 12 weeks along. Anyway, so I called the doctor and they said the description I gave sounded like my water could have broken, but that it was super unusual for somebody this early. But they couldn't get me in that day (it was pretty late in the day) so they set me up an ultrasound appointment for the next day (today). Anyway, I spent the rest of the night laying on the couch not doing much in hopes that somehow things would be okay.
This morning I woke up about 6am and went to the bathroom and realized I was bleeding. At that point... I kind of lost hope. So I crawled back into bed and somehow fell back to sleep. When I woke up again I checked and there was no more bleeding, just a little brown colored, old blood, which signified that it was there a while before it came out. Which to me meant that the problem maybe wasn't my water breaking? I just wasn't sure. So I again... waited until appointment time finally came. The ultrasound went great. Baby is fine, heart beat of 163, with plenty of fluid around him/her. I was SO relieved. Anyway, then the tech finished checking things out and we went to meet with the doctor. The doctor said the baby looks great, but there is what they are thinking is a blood clot and probably caused the bleeding. The fluid is still confusing to us all. They aren't sure where it came from. There are a few options. 1. The placenta leaked some fluid into the uterus and then it gushed out and the placenta healed and the fluid replenished 2. It was just some fluid from in the uterus that leaked out or 3. It was an attempt at a twin pregnancy and the twin was just a gestational sac that didn't develop and finally just ruptured and is gone now. Anyway, we don't know, but everything is fine now, except I get two weeks of taking it easy (harder than it sounds when you have two kids!!!) to make sure that if the blood clot came from the placenta that it doesn't happen again.
Whew! Such a relief. The last two days have been a complete roller coaster and I am happy that it is over.

Baby #3 Due Feb 11

A few months after I received that little piece of revelation (honestly I didn't think I was ready for another child yet... But I guess sometimes you just have to have a little faith), we found out I was pregnant. About a week after I found out I had some pretty intense pain so when I went to the doctor to get my pregnancy confirmed I mentioned it and we decided to do an ultrasound just to make sure everything was ok (especially since I was moving in about a week). We did the ultrasound and they couldn't see much and the tech was really negative about the whole thing and scared the crap out of me. So later that day I called the doctor I was planning to go to in Twin Falls and set up my 10 week appointment and ultrasound. Then we moved and my appointment day came. Everything looked great (as seen in the ultrasound picture below) and the tech was super nice and even did a few 3D shots, which was fun. Anyway, I've been really at peace and happy about this pregnancy... You know, despite being super sick and tired, haha. It was rough to move while I was so sick and honestly it was one of the hardest weeks I've ever lived through, but we made it and things are settling down and I'm starting to feel better! And to show! I started showing super early.

7 weeks... 3 days?
10 weeks
Cute little baby. The bean was measuring 1 day ahead of schedule, which is unusual for me because with both Emma and Abby they measured small at the 10 week and they changed my due date (even though both were born closer to their original due dates). So that and the fact that I have felt soooo different this pregnancy I've wondered if it's a boy. I guess we will find out in a few more weeks! I am 11 weeks 3 days right now :)

Waiting and Wandering...

You know between being pregnant and nursing you don't get the chance much, so I fasted for the second time in a LONG time. Anyway, a man in our ward had been battling cancer so I was fasting for him and his family... Well it was a surprise the feelings and emotions that I experienced throughout the day, but one instance in particular was a truly amazing experience. Logan had stayed home sick and kept Abby with him. Emma and I went to church. I dropped Emma off at nursery and went to Sunday School. During Sunday School I had some really intense feelings that something was wrong. I kept thinking Emma had somehow gotten out of nursery and was wandering around lost somewhere waiting to be found. I was sitting in the middle of a middle row so I didn't want to get up and walk out to check on her if I didn't have to. So I closed my eyes and said a prayer. Just asked to know if I needed to check on her now. I got a distinct feeling of peace... But I still knew something was wrong. It took a while but a thought crossed my mind and I thought I knew what was wrong. I didn't know for sure until later that night when I was telling Logan about my experience. But as I was telling Logan the thoughts and feelings came soooo strongly that I couldn't deny it. It wasn't Emma that had been wandering around the church waiting to be found... It was another little spirit, farther away, ready to join our family...

New House

We are loving our house. We like our yard, and not living in a basement, and our neighbors. It's a lot of fun being here and it's nice to be getting used to the town we are going to be in for a while (hopefully forever!). Anyway, life is good.

Dad's just can't help but get into the middle of the water fight can they?

Moving to Twin Falls

We spent some time with our friends before we moved to Twin Falls. Here's Mason and Abby, someday they will get married :)

Abby and baby Brock.
Sharla, Jeremie, and Dustin.
Blake, Katelyn, and baby Brock.

A few weeks later packed up and moved! It was a crazy week. I was taking a class that went from 8-4 and my mom was watching the kids all week. And we were packing like crazy. And then Friday of that week we moved. Logan packed everything up and took off with the truck. KariAnne Pratt (best VTer EVER) and I cleaned my apartment, and then I packed the kids in the car and we moved. It's crazy to me that it happened. And it's crazy that we are here, in the town we are going to be in, hopefully forever!

Camping at Moon Lake

We went camping with my Uncle Tom and his family and Nate and IsaBelle. Super fun and it turns out Emma loves fishing!!

The kids loved my uncle's dog Ruffles. They probably tortured him thoroughly.

The kids kept putting themselves in the dog kennel and we kept having to make them get out... Kinda funny :)

Trying to take a nap but it was way super hot...

Woke up one morning to this... Pretty funny.

When we were packing we were about 10 minutes too slow. Our tent and some stuff got soaked in the insane rainstorm and hailstorm that hit... It was soooo fun. Not, haha.

Hiking

We went hiking quite a while ago... But I have slacked off on posting for the last couple months while taking my online class. But I'm done now so I'll keep up!!
We went with Sharla, Dustin, and Mason. We had a lot of fun and completely wore the kids out.

This pic randomly ended up here... It's just dirt on her face I promise. She loves dumping dirt on her head :) gotta love her!

4th of July

We visited my parents one last time before they left. We had a little firework show on the 3rd and then went to the big show on the 4th in Idaho Falls. Both the girls fell asleep during the show. We were in the grass around Denney's, so basically we were right under the show and both kids were actually pretty scared haha... Not sure how they fell asleep!

A couple random pictures....

Moving to Tennessee

My parents decided they are super crazy and my dad found a new job in Tennessee and so they put their house up for sale and moved away. It's pretty crazy and my kids miss them a lot, but also LOVE skyping with them.

Here they are ripping out carpet so they could put new carpet in. Super fun :)

Random Extreme Catch Up

Random pics from before our move!

Emma holding playdough... Unfortunately I can't remember what she had made. She was really proud of it though. It was a tower or something...
