Wood Floors & Painting

We decided to rip out our carpets. There were wood floors underneath, which we had refinished. We are really loving it. There will be a later post with our new furniture and decorations.

*Before we ripped it out!*

*McKenna helped paint since I had to take care of kids and really couldn't help much.*

*Easterlings also came and helped a lot. And then Mike came for a few days and really helped. There is NO WAY we could have done it all without him!*

*New floors all finished!*

*We also got a really good deal on a new stove/oven from our neighbors, the Bottingers, who just refinished their kitchen!*

*New couch going in!*

Swimming Lessons

We were finally able to get Emma into swimming lessons. She progressed so much! She is more confident and able to move around in the water and dunk her face! I think they did a great job teaching her. She also begged me to get her some goggles and as soon as I did her swimming improved immensely! I'm really proud of her.

*She even jumped off of the high dive twice!*

At Grandpa Tom's & Temple Square

The last part of my parent's visit was a trip to temple square. Emma and Abby loved it. I haven't really walked around it for a few years, so that was pretty cool.

*On top of the church office building.*

*She wasn't super good at sitting up yet... so we made do :) *

*At Grandpa Tom's (that's what Emma and Abby call my Uncle Tom. She actually tells everyone now that she has three Grandma and Grandpas. My uncle doesn't have grandkids yet, so he treats them like his own and they love it!) everybody got to ride four-wheelers!

*These two are really good at poking each other and stealing toys...*

*Best friend sisters!*

*Abby snuggles!*

*At the Salt Lake Temple doors!*

*Emma kept begging to go into the little houses... but I really just love this picture because of how long her hair is!!*

*The girls by Christ. Well...at first I was annoyed the pictures turned out so light... but then thinking about it, I love that it makes them look like they are really in his presence, with it almost too bright to look at :) *

*Abby got up and did some ballet in front of the statue of Christ for everyone. I got a lot of comments on how cute she is.*
