Their done! I'm so excited that the last two state tests for my students are over! This past week they finished the last two tests. I'm hopeful with the math test but clueless as to how they did on the reading. I'll find out in about 10 school days.
Travis' 26th birthday was Monday. We celebrated it last weekend with my family. They were nice enough to cook Travis' favorite meal: steak and potatoes. Dean grilled some big steaks and they had twice baked potatoes, brussel sprouts (Travis likes them) and grilled garlic bread. Travis mainly got clothes, headphones, candy, and car cleaner (he asked for it). After dinner and opening gifts we played miniature golf. It was fun.
On weekends we've been playing around on realtor.com and searching for houses. Then we drive and find them and critique them. We'll actually talk with a realtor in May. It's exciting thinking about getting a house of our own but not exciting knowing that my taste is more than we can afford and the fear of "settling" for something less. Also, the costs of future events makes me nervous. That's part of growing up I suppose.
I wish I had some pictures to post but unfortunately I don't. We'll being posting more in the next month for sure with pictures. Plan to be "Wowed"! Talk to you later.
