#2 won (for those who saw this post before I edited it). I had asked some other people too and they all (except 1) said they liked this picture better. This weekend I'll scan the picture they took of Douglas and show ya'll. Thanks for the input!!

Vaccinations
Per Sarah's request, here is another scrapbook page I created. Well, technically, I just put it all together. So if you want to know who made what paper, etc, let me know and I'll look. I just didn't want to list the credits because I took bits and pieces from about 4 kits (as you can probably tell). I like the collage, thrown together look. It's hard for me to get scrapbooking done because a) I'm not that creative, b) I'm still learning Photoshop Elements, and c) I've spoiled my little darling and Douglas won't have me playing on the computer while he's awake. He has to have my undivided attention. :-) I had fun with this page. I like it a lot.

Big Boy
Because Douglas hasn't been gaining as much weight as the doctor would like (I took him again last Thursday), we started him on rice cereal Friday night. He didn't act like he liked or disliked it. However, he's now slowing showing us that he's not a fan. I just can't believe my baby is moving on to solids. It kind of makes me sad.
Today was a fabulous day. Dougie was so happy. He's not the easiest to make smile. I can usually get the most smiles from him. But if someone new is around or something's going on, he usually won't budge. Today was great b/c I got sooooo many BIG smiles out of him and a few laughs too. I just love to see him smile and especially laugh. I'll try to get a video of him laughing. It's hard though because as soon as he sees that camera, he shuts right up and stares at it. It's worth the try though.
Today I was helping a lady in our ward clean her house b/c she is moving. I was washing the windows and Douglas was behind me in his car seat. The ladies' 3 year old girl came up and was looking at Douglas. I kind of watched them from the corner of my eye and saw her bending down. I wanted to make sure she was being gentle so I turned all the way and she was trying to feed him a teddy grahmn cracker. Thank goodness Douglas had his lips pinched shut. He was beginning to open it though and managed to slobber it with drool. I took the cracker away and told her that he only ate milk. She paused and took the cracker out of my hand and ate it. She couldn't let that go to waste, slobbery and all !! :-)

Bored on a Sunday
Well, Travis is preparing FHE so I have some time to surf the web. I got tired of that so here I am. Nothing too new since Thursday. I've increased Douglas' feeding time by 10 min each feeding. That equals to 3 extra feedings so I feel confident that he'll gain the weight he needs. I'll check on it next week and if he hasn't gained enough then I'll give in and start giving him rice cereal once a day. Anyway, here are some random pictures. Have a great week!
I just got Photoshop Elements and I was playing with it. I'm so impressed with what it can do with pictures. This picture is of us at Thanksgiving when Douglas was about 2 weeks old. Look how much better the second picture is then the first (the orginial). I can't wait to play with the program and learn more. (notice the color of the leaves and our skin and also, I erased Travis' bags under his eyes)

Douglas' 4 months stats
So we went to the doctor today and I'm not very happy. On Feb. 12th Douglas weighed 13.6 pounds When they weighed him today he only weighed 13.8 pounds (25%). I knew the doctor would say something when he came in. He's 25.5 in. long (75%) and 13.8 lb. (25%). He suggested that I start feeding him rice cereal. I don't want to yet. I don't want to for at least another month, maybe not until he is 6 months. He said that since Travis and I are "average" size that Douglas' weight needs to be more. I was like, "Have you really looked at Travis?, he's a small man". He only has 5 feedings now, eats every three hours and sleeps 11hours through the night. I asked if I could give him one more feeding instead of the cereal and he suggested that my milk probably doesn't give him enough calories. I feel defective. So my plan is to try to make Douglas go 5 extra minutes each feeding until April and then introduce the cereal. Does that sound dumb? Should I just give him the cereal? I don't want to.

He rolled!! (and I'm a moron)
My baby did it, he rolled over!! Douglas HATES tummy time, so much that he just cries and doesn't even attempt to lift his head. He sits up great but don't ask him to lift his head while on his tummy. So lately, I've started vacuuming around him when he's on his tummy. That actually gets him to look up and lift his head (see 1st picture). Well today I put him on his tummy and went to start the vacuum but he wasn't crying (yet) and his head was high. Eventually he got bored and plopt his head to the side with his body twisted. He then kept swinging his back leg until he rolled over. I'm so excited, as you can tell in the video. I realized that I am totally moronic when I get excited. I think my predisposition is to be the real annoying mom at her kids' basketball games who whoops and hollers and you're like take a chill pill lady. Oh well, worse things could happen. :-) I'm soooo excited!!
