Misc.

There is no rhyme or reason to this post. I was just uploading pictures from my camera to the computer and thought I'd post a couple. One evening, Douglas was a little wound up and was running back and forth across the house and I'd make silly noises. Anyway, I went into the laundry room (to do laundry) and usually the door doesn't completely shut. Douglas obviously wasn't expecting it to shut either b/c he came running after me and slammed his head into the door knob. The middle of his forehead had a big goose egg for over a week.
Douglas was sitting in the grocery cart when we were at the store. I put in mini baking M&M's and he said, "Oh! Good job Mommy!"

He is the reason I bought them though. We are using them for counting and colors.
I was so sad when Douglas was a baby and he grew out of the following outfit. It is one of my favorites. I was so excited to put Harrison in it. This is one reason I love cold weather.

The video below is of Harrison laughing. He usually laughs when he's tired. It's a delirious laugh. Sorry about the camera being titled. It's my regular camera that has a short video capacity and I always forget that I can't turn the camera when taking a video. Oops!

Rolling Rolling Rolling, Rawhide!

Today Harrison rolled over twice. Both times were accidents though! I was to the side and talking to him and he looked up and started kicking all excited and tilted to see me more and rolled over. I put him back on his belly and it happened again. He seemed undisturbed, except when I was all in his face yelling "YEA!! Good job" That might have freaked him out a little. :-)

***Warning Politics****Today Obama reversed Bush's abortion fund policy. Read this article. Needless to say, I'm not happy.

5 pieces of heaven on earth

#5 good food or perhaps a good long nap
#4 seeing Douglas play and being so happy, likewise, having Harrison grin with his whole face
#3 Holding Douglas today while he watched baby Einstein
#2 when Douglas and Harrison are laying next to each other both smiling and "talking" and Douglas looks up at me with the most sincere intense look and says in the sweetest voice "Ah, I love Cin-a-nin" I can see the love on his face
#1 Cuddling with hubby and falling asleep that way!

blog confusion

Well, I'm not entirely sure what is going to happen with the blog. Travis doesn't want to change a thing. But for the past several months, I've wanted to change the address and give it out again so that I have a better idea of who has it. I changed the settings so hopefully the only way people can ever see my blog is through others who have my blog linked on theirs. For now, you can keep our link on your blog if you want. That may change. If you're confused, I had a vulgar and threatening comment on my recent inauguration post. That's interesting, considering I'm sure the President is all about freedom of speech and would not approve of those nasty comments. Anyways, I will continue to post my political opinions, although I'll try to make them nicer (although, they were pretty mild already).

Sincerely,
the European baby generator and Crap lady whose life is in danger should I continue to post mean things about Obama

What have I been up to? (random post)

Well, besides soaking up my sons I have been enjoying my new Christmas presents. Our computer is a little over 3 years old. That sounds brand new but in techno world, its pretty old. Anyway, it was super slow with all my digi-scraping programs and files. So for Christmas Travis got me an Acer laptop. Apparently Acer is an up and coming rival to HP. This particular laptop specializes in multimedia which is great for my NEW Photoshop elements 7. We can't afford the full photoshop (nor will we ever). So during naps and at night I hang out watching tv and scrapping. This is a huge plus b/c I'm not stuck in the other room if I want to use the computer. Here is the latest layout I did. I also redid my scrapblog. CHECK it OUT. I'm saying this b/c I think it's super cute! :-)
Anyways, Travis' busy season is starting so these presents have come at the perfect time to occupy my lonely nights. Boo hoo!! I really dislike January and February.

My heart is full

I am in love all over again. Harrison has done something to my heart. He's opened it wider when I didn't know it could open any further. I don't know what it is but my heart has been so full of love recently. My love for him also has made my love for Douglas grow too. I won't even attempt to explain that one. All I know is that I look at my two children and my heart is so full and that if for some reason I couldn't have any more children, I could be very content and happy with these two. (I still want more but IF I couldn't, I'm still the luckiest woman around.) Douglas has been more loving to me lately too. It seems that his vast preference for Travis hasn't been as vast lately. I LOVE that. We've spent so much time with me holding him. He often says, "Mommy hold me." I just wanted to express my love for my two boys.

Proof of one of the accusations

A sister at church likes to tease me about Harrison. She thinks he doesn't look like the family and that he's dark (hispanic). She teases me that his Daddy is NOT Travis. Well, I might not be able to prove that Harrison belongs to Travis (teasing of course), but I think these pictures prove that he belongs to the family. I think the boys look so much alike. And yes, I'm totally chessy for recreating the picture with Harrison.

Ignore the look of fear (or constipation) in Child B
After looking at them together, they look different enough. Maybe she's right! :-)

Cinna-nin-nin 4 mths, & Random

I deleted the last post because I didn't word it right so it sounded like I preferred a child more than the other which couldn't be further from the truth. Anyway, Cinna-nin-nin (that's Douglas way of saying Harrison) turned 4 months on Saturday. I always knew that I would love my second child as much as Douglas but it still surprises me. I just am enjoying Harrison so much and love him so completely that it surprises me that I still have all that room in my heart to love him this much. I knew I would but it stills amazes me. I have a small taste of how Heavenly Father can love ALL of us so much.

I took Harrison for his 4 month appointment expecting his weight gain to be good because he's been eating more but no. He went down 2 percentiles. He still gained weight though. Anyway, since birth he's only gone down percentiles. The doctor didn't seem too concerned but wants a weight check next month and if it still went down to get blood work, urine sample and sweat sample to test for kidney and thyroid problems and cystic fibrosis. I'm not concerned. I doubt he has any problems and I hate to drag him around getting tested. Anyway, other than that he's good.
Here are some random pictures b/c I hate to do a post without pictures. :-)
30second video of Harrison Squawking. He's moved on from just cooing. :-)

Nativity

Every Christmas Eve my extended family gets together. This Christmas Eve my aunt made props and costumes for the grandchildren and great grandchildren to do the nativity scene for my grandmother. Since there are more children in our family then the orginial nativity had, she added princesses and a drummer boy. It's 5 minutes long.
Travis, Me, and Harrison are Joseph, Mary, and Jesus
Douglas is the Little drummer boy. He is shy of all the attention. :-)
