Slide and swim

We busted out the kiddie pool. I think I might need to buy a bigger one this year. Harrison had a sweet spot in my make shift shade. I love my boys. Listening to them laugh makes me so grateful to be able to stay home with them. I sure wouldn't want to miss this.

Read the post below and let me know if you are interested and which days of the week work best for you.

Fitness/Playgroup

I'm always looking for things to do with the kids. Out of curiosity I asked a stroller fitness group how much they cost and it was $45 a month. No thanks. I have a gym membership. I was telling a friend about this and she said she tried one. She also said we should get our friends together and do one ourselves. So, anyone interested in a fitness/playgroup in Allen????? No charge(obviously) just fun for mom and kids. My friend was a trainer for 24fitness (its Rhonda for those who know her). I'm not exactly sure what we'd do besides the obvious stroller brisk walk. I know squats and stuff too. I think we'll mainly do it at Celebration and have the kids play afterwards too. I think we talked about one day a week and early in the morning like 8:30ish. Are you interested??

Owens farm

Today we went to Owen's Farm with 2 friends and their kids. It was fun. Douglas wouldn't come near the goats to feed them. Harrison sat in the stroller crying. I don't know if the goats were scaring him or what. Then we moved on and Douglas loved seeing the pigs, roosters, baby horses and cows. He like the tractor ride too. However, he wouldn't touch any animal, not the goats or the horse. The other kids petted the animals but Douglas wouldn't get too close.

He let Kim pick him up to pet the horse but pulled back IMMEDIATELY!

That's all I got

You know its time to update the blog when your husband's co-worker tells him we need a blog update. The thing is nothing exciting has been happening. We keep busy but I'm not sure with what. :-) We go to parks alot, esp, the local spray park. Potty training is going very well. Harrison turned 8 months. Just 2 days after, his bottom middle 2 teeth popped through. Those are his first and only teeth, so far. Last Saturday he started babbling, not just cooing. Crawling is NO WHERE near. He hates being on his belly and just rolls over. Here are a few random pictures but that's all I got for now.
I got a hair cut and bangs. I love it.

Potty training

WOW, I'm super surprised how well this has gone thus far. Day 1 had 5 accidents, Day 2 had like 3 and the rest of the days have been 0 or 1 accident. Sometimes I put him in diapers for nap and sometimes underwear. Night is diapers. I bought an "on the go potty" for when we go out and we used it at the parks and took it to Sams Club and he used it there. He's only gone poop once in the potty. How long should I wait before trying to transfer him to sitting on the toilet (with the toilet insert for kids)? I hope this keeps up.
