If you live in Texas and have never been to the State Fair, shame on you!  ;-)  It costs a pretty penny buying all that food but it's worth once a year trip.

The Toyota section of the car show had fishing and last year Douglas was "the only one" who caught a fish and he couldn't wait to be "the only one" again this year. However, when he pulled it out and we tried to get a picture of him by the fish, he wanted nothing to do with it.

One of my favorite parts is a mini-farm for kids.  They get aprons and baskets and go "water" trees, pick peaches, get corn to feed fake chickens, collect their eggs, plant seeds, harvest them, ride and tractor, milk a cow, etc.  It is so fun to see them do it.  They look so cute.

Douglas rode the car last year with Travis' help but this year they didn't let us in to help him and Douglas wasn't used to driving so he reversed crashed into the tires and wasn't too fond of it.
