You can't beat a great fall festival to wear everyone out. It is always worth the journey whether it is an hour long car ride to the pumpkin patch or late night outing to the church's carnival. The sugar high will surely carry everyone home wide awake! What fun we had celebrating fall with our friends. Haley couldn't have had anymore fun with her two girlfriends Hannah and Ainsley. I can't even imagine our lives without them. The girls twirled, sang, played and laughed with delight everywhere we went. The two's might be tough, but when the girls are loving life together I can't help but wish we would all express our joy with such enthusiasm.

Cousins Could be Twins

No, they don't look like they are related but they are actually cousins born two days a part. Aren't they adorable?! How much fun are these to little guys going to have as they grow up together...only in different cities. Whenever we connect though, they are going to have a ball. It was precious to see them smiling at each other and checking the other one out. Haley got in on the action too, but mostly as photographer. She took the picture of the boys holding hands. How sweet are they.

Sweet Smiles
You know it is all worth it when you see those first smiles. Amazing what a smile can do to make the long nights and early mornings disappear. I never have my camera handy when Evan is smiling, but we caught a little grimace on film today. Once Haley grabbed onto the swing though, he didn't know what to think. Nothing like the smile of a proud big sis. What joy is found in the smile of a child!
