Blessed Beyond Measure

 Goodness do I love these two beautiful people!  

 My niece Holly took Nixon's senior pictures when she came at Spring Break.  And I knew they would be amazing, but our sneak peek blew me away.  And may have made me cry!  My beautiful girl is all grown up!

 When you have two graduates in the house . . . you CELEBRATE!  God REALLY blessed us by having two graduating at the same time.  My heart burst wide open watching them celebrate together.  Watching them love each other through this major milestone makes me the happiest mom on the planet!

 TWHS Graduation was AMAZING!  It was hot and crowded, but still so special!  I am so proud of this girl and all she has accomplished.  She blows me away every single day with her brains, beauty and heart of gold.  It is so cliché to say she will change the world . . . but she will.  I guarantee it!  Congrats to our 2023 TWHS top 10% capstone graduate!

 This kid won STATE for current events.  My mind is blown!  And I am sooooo proud of her!

This was a HARD day.  Saying goodbye to a house that we LOVE is going to be one of the hardest things we have done.  As I sat at the table during our closing and gazed out at the tranquil lake I was flooded with memories of our home.  There have been loads of laughs and tears at this house.  Little footprints from both of my babies.  Lots of animals.  Several job changes.  ALL of Nixon's school years.  And yet I know this change is needed.  When our realtor handed me this artwork of our home, I cried big nasty tears.  And then I remembered that  home is where my people are, and my heart was filled with peace.  I have no doubt that our new "home" will be amazing too.  Once we fill it with all of the love that we have filled this one with.  We know God has a big and mighty plan!  

It was AMAZING to watch Nixon walk through her old elementary school to celebrate graduating.  And what bigger blessing than for that elementary school to be the very one where her brother will be graduating from Kinder in just a few days.  He anxiously awaited her arrival and his teacher caught the sweet moment between my two favorite people.  I couldn't possibly be prouder of both of them!
