So here it is.....

I worked really hard getting it all tiled and grouted one weekend and Greg surprised me by getting the electrical switches and plugs changed out while I was in Tyler. It's so nice to have an awesome, brand-new kitchen to cook in!! Too bad we didn't have any "before" pictures to go with it, but if you ever saw it before, you'll know how much better this is (the cabinet doors aren't falling off any more!!).
Now on to the next projects....the bathrooms. We demoed everything in the guest bath this morning and Greg spent some time patching and retexturing the walls. Hopefully we'll be able to work on this project bit-by-bit over the next few weeks and have it done before too long.
I started back to work again (not that I had much time off because of teaching summer school). We have a new principal this year and, guess what, she has said we aren't allowed to wear capris this year!!! That's especially horrible to me because it is almost impossible to find maternity pants that are long enough. Luckily I've found two pairs of slacks that have a long enough inseam and LOTS of skirts and dresses I'll wear for the rest of the year.
Thanks Mom for teaching me how to sew and re-hem pants :)Volleyball season starts back up on Aug 25th when school does, so with Aggie Football tailgating, teaching, remodeling, Greg working lots of required OT, and getting baby stuff ready, we'll be super-busy this Fall. Lots to do, lots to do....
Exciting news!!! We have our ultrasound scheduled for this coming Thursday at 4:30, so expect to hear from us not too long after with the "is it a boy or a girl" news. Greg and I each have an idea of what we think it is, but we don't agree with each other, so we'll see who's right :)
That's about all the rambling that comes to mind. Greg and I are going to head out for a dinner-and-a-movie date :)
