Hangin' With The Yoders

7/2/12 - I couldn't believe I heard my 1st quote from Jaydon! We saw a train stopped on the tracks & Jaydon was saying "go, train, go!" I was explaining to him that it was stopped & wasn't going right now...to which he responds with "bavery!" Which meant battery! Of course, because when things stop @ our house, it usually needs a battery!

Now on to Braylon's juicy july thoughts...

7/2 - Braylon was bouncing Jaydon on the air mattress & says "wow I didn't bounce him this high 2 days ago before I went to 1st Camp @ Amigo w/Dad. I must've grew weight. I must be 50 lbs. now instead of 41 lbs.!"

* Braylon says "Goldie is like a bug becuz she squirms around!" Goldie is our goldfish.

7/8 - I'm cutting up grapefruit for Braylon & he says "I wonder how many seconds it'll take her to dig them out!" Dig what out, Braylon?

* Braylon says "I ate a grapefruit seed!" I said "oh good, you'll just grow grapefruit for us then." Braylon responds with "but I don't live in the south!"

7/23 - Braylon is giving his friend Noah a ride on the spinning chair & says "let's take a trip to China. That's where most the toys are made. I want to see how they are made!"

7/24 - Jaydon is bringing in a molar in his mouth & so we gave him a teether ring that's been in the freezer. Braylon says "can I try it? It might help bring in my grown up teeth!"

7/25 - Braylon says to Ben "you're bending my hand ankle!" He meant his wrist...but I agree, hand ankle makes more sense! :)

Oops, I forgot last month to post Braylon's May thoughts so now I'm posting May & June thoughts!

5/5/12 - I made an egg sausage muffin casserole & said "I won't make this again." Braylon says "becuz there's too much baby sugar?" He meant to say baking powder! Where in the world did he come up w/baby sugar! :)

5/6 - Braylon says "hey we're drinking jelly belly blueberry pop & have blueberry jelly bellys so can we taste the comparence?" He meant to say comparison! Close! I do like the sound of comparence better than comparison though, I'd have to say! :)

5/30 - Braylon skinned his leg while playing on the Burger King playland. He says "good thing I have 7 layers of skin!"

* We went to Meijer to buy lettuce for Braylon's tadpoles. We get to the lettuce section & Bray asks "is there tadpole lettuce?" He was actually serious about this question!

* I had Braylon put his dinosaur PJs on @ bedtime. I said "wow, are you growing? I think these PJs are getting smaller on you." Bray says "yeah! I'm growing! Must be becuz I'm having a birthday soon! In fact, I'm growing early!" (his birthday is 17 days later so that's why he said early!)

* I was tucking the tag in of his PJ top & Braylon can't stand the feel of tags. He says "I have an attitude with tags!"

6/10 - I go & try to get Braylon's sleepers out of the corner of his eyes & he says "I already got them all cleaned out. Did another one crawl in?"

6/28 - 3 children are coming over today for my daycare. Braylon says "5 kids to watch! Well, actually, 4 for us 2!" He takes his helper job seriously! :)

* We're out looking for bugs for Braylon's praying mantis. He says "maybe they'll fall from the sky like manna!" I am glad that they don't!

6/30 - Ben is sweeping the house & he says "the vacuum cleaner is blinking @ me. I need to change it." Braylon says "change what? It's diaper?" Do you think maybe we change a lot of diapers in this house?!

Oct. 22, 2011 - We were outside in the evening playing in our backyard. Of course, I was taking pictures of our fun time together. All of a sudden, my shutter flap to the view finder of my camera (I'm sure those are not the correct terms but that's how I think of it) would only partially open & I still tried taking a picture & it looked so cool that I kept snapping more shots becuz of how neat it looked w/the shutter partly closed! So enjoy!

I can't believe my baby is going to be going to Kindergarten! Ok, this is me talking in the past tense becuz when I am posting this Braylon actually only has 6 days left of Kindergarten! And I am just posting about him getting started! Oh boy! But by now you know that's just me...always posting late, late, late! I'm seriously trying to "catch-up!" I am ONLY 9 months behind! Ok, enough about me & my procrastinating or whatever it is...on to my BIG BOY!
Guess who Braylon has for his Kindergarten teacher??? MRS. YODER!!! Yeah! We found out later that we are distantly related.
