Texas Road Trip

In October, Kyle and Jordon moved their family all the way to Texas. My parents (and us) wanted to go visit the week before Christmas. So we all piled in the RV and started the 19 hour drive to Denton, TX. We visited the Fort Worth Stock Yards and soaked up some cowboy Christmas cheer. We stayed in RV parks in Gallup, NM and Amarillo, TX. Brandon served his mission in Fort Worth so he was glad to be back and see the sites. On our way home, we stopped at the Big Texan Steak Ranch restaurant. This is our 2nd time coming to this restaurant. We stopped here on our way home from living in Missouri in 2002.

It was good to see Kyle, Jordon, Isaac, Atti, and Rowan. We miss them, but love their new home.

One-armed Cheerleader

Sydney broke her arm on December 1st. This didn't stop her from performing at her Cheer Dance recital the next week. She complains a little about the cast, but for the most part, is handling it very well. She gets the cast off on January 4th.

Cody's 12

Cody turned 12 on November 11th. He was ordained to the Priesthood and is getting to be quite a young man.
What do you get when you mix a Gnome, a headless Hobo, a Boxer and an Owl? A fun Kephart Halloween. 2011

Summer Road Trip

In January, we started planning a trip with the Callisters to the Oregon coast. We rented an amazing 4 story beach house for a week. Since we had the RV now, we decided to take it on a road trip. We started out driving up through Nevada, stopping in Jackpot, NV. Then we drove through Idaho and Oregon. We stopped at a park in Baker City, OR for a picnic lunch.

We stayed in and RV park in Portland before heading to Oceanside the next day.
Multnomah Falls was on the way to Portland. This is a beautiful waterfall.
Tillamook, OR was the closest city to our beach house in Oceanside. Here we found this building. Little did we know that there were many Kepharts living in Tillamook.
After a week at the beach house, we drove down the Oregon and California coasts, stopping in the Redwood Forest. We then drove to San Fransisco, where we visited Chinatown.
This was a great trip. We love travelling with the Callisters.

Fish Lake - Summer 2011

This summer we went with Brandon's parents to Fish Lake. This was our first "long" trip in our motorhome that we purchased in May. RV camping is the way to go!!!! We were able to stop by Grandpa Larry's house in Hurricane and then see The Little Mermaid at Tuacahn.
