Rachel's Homemade Laptop

Last night Rachel called me to come look at  her bed.  She had made a laptop and was "skyping" with her friend Caitlin.  I thought it was so cute.

The frog pillow in the background is the monitor.  The pink pillow is the keyboard and the bright pink ball is the mouse.

She has Caitlin's picture up because they were skyping.

Gorgeous Weather

I LOVE WINTER!!!  Everyday I wake up happy when it is the Fall and Winter months.  I SO DO NOT look forward to when it warms up.  While driving to work, I thought it looked so beautiful out.

My Reader

First I want to tell you a story.  At the beginning of this school year, Rachel was tested on her reading.  She got a 60, which is failing, and then was put into tutoring.  Right before school let out for Christmas break she was tested again and she got over a 200!!!  100 is passing.  Now I see her reading all the time.  I love it.  I think she just needed the confidence mostly and got that and more.  I was really excited when I realized I could download kids books on my Nook and keep it for the girls if they are bored while out.  We went out for dinner and waiting for our food so she asked for my Nook.  I was one proud Mama :)

AHZ Christmas Day

This was what I woke up to Christmas Morning.  Such a cute girl.

The kids.  LOVE this pic.  None of them are looking at me.

Santa Daddy

Mrs. Claus

Scary Sister hehe

Love the excitement on her face.

This is what she wanted the most from Santa.  A JB Bed.  She got sheets and a blanket.

She wanted Monster High.  She got it.

The most exciting present, my nook

Waiting for it to charge...

AHZ Christmas Eve

Saved this beer specifically for Christmas Eve.

Grandma buys us all Christmas pjs.  The girls pjs came with face masks.  They slept with them on for days.

Got some cute Owl slippers.

Rayray

This is my girl.  She gets anything and makes it into a craft.  We went to the movies and she got Bottlecaps.  She has some left over when we were home and decided to make a picture with them.

It's Christmas Time!

Laura bought her a Monkey game.  She was very excited.

The yellow monkey dress that she requested.  Um yeah.  Couldnt find a yellow dress, period.  I found a yellow shirt and a toddler yellow tutu skirt.  Mom sewed them together.  And then Eric put a monkey iron on on the shirt.  She was happy with it and thats all that matters.  :)

I usually make caramel rolls for Christmas morning, but forgot to get the ingredients so I made homemade cinnamon rolls instead.

Laura got Rachel that glimmer tattoo stuff that you see on tv.  She wanted a dragon, since her class is the Dragons.

Melly sent me a Moms Club cookbook.  I contributed some of my recipes in it.

Taryn made daddy a clay bowl.

Eric's favorite saying.

Santa left this microphone in Laura's stocking.  After she sang from it for several hours, it somehow disappeared.

Now he can make his Amaretto Sours.

Finished product.  Nommnommm.

Grandpa Greg and Grandma Shelley came to visit.
Phil Phillips and Dave Matthews.  Happy, I am!

Who is Dave Matthew's biggest fan??!!  This girl!
We made spiral honey ham, homemade scalloped potatoes (that took two hours to make), green beans and french bread.  For dessert I made Hot Chocolate Brownies with Vanilla Ice cream.  Very tasty Christmas Day dinner.
