Way back in March...Marissa, Michael and Hannah participated in Federation. I love hearing my kids play the piano...makes me smile every time!
Also worth noting...Michael turned 12 in March and received the Aaronic Priesthood. It's such a blessing to have 2 worthy priesthood holders in our home!!! They are pretty good lookin' if you ask me!
Way back in April...my parents and sisters all made a trip to Washington to meet our newest nephew, Jackson. We had a lot of laughs as we drove the 600+ miles together and loved visiting with Jennica and her family...good times!

Cache Valley Rendezvous
In May, Hannah's 3rd grade class took a field trip to the Cache Valley Rendezvous. It is an annual event held over the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend up Blacksmith Fork Canyon. It is sponsored by The Old Ephraim Mountain Men and Women Club. The participants re-enact pioneer life with games and competitions, including rifle shooting, knife thowing, primitive archery and dutch oven cooking. Hannah and I both learned a few new and interesting things and really just enjoyed our one-on-one time together. We took a few pictures...enjoy!

NEWPORT BEACH
This was the first time my kids have every been to the beach...and if you can't tell from the pictures, they LOVED it! I wish we would've spent an entire day at the beach while we were in California...oh well, it's probably best that we didn't because I seriously could've become a beach bum and skipped a day or two at Disneyland!!!
